Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

British Red Cross have some lovely things in store and online. I saw these hare Christmas sacks today and they're lovely as an alternative to stockings (quite big though!)
They have a whole range with the hare and fox here

StealthNinjaMum · 14/09/2018 17:52

@weescottish31

we've got two of these so my and dh and dc can play laser tag.

It's good but dc cheat and cover up their laser point so they're harder to hit we don't play that often.

It's in Argos 2 for £30. www.argos.co.uk/product/2486268

The eBay code expires at 8pm. Good for normal sites such as Argos or Currys that sell there. You could get a rare discount on a switch etc.

NoWordForFluffy · 14/09/2018 18:47

@woodwaj, what eBay code is that?

sleepismysuperpower1 · 14/09/2018 18:58

NeitherNowtNorSummat01 · 14/09/2018 19:11

I may have imagined this, but I’m sure people here have mentioned ways of getting things of Very.co.uk with a discount. But I can’t remember how. Do you have to open an account and get a percentage off or have I dreamt that

LostMyRubySlippers · 14/09/2018 19:15

neithernowt try this link from voucher codes for £20 off a £40 spend, new credit customers
very code

Rockhopper81 · 14/09/2018 19:21

Just to say that I ordered a pair of the wireless earphones that imsorryiasked mentioned earlier in the thread - for just over £5 delivered, they’re actually really quite good! I don’t like loud music, so no idea what the sound quality would be like if you played anything too loud through them, but for the price they’re excellent!

Two things though - the description does say they might not fit if you have small ears, and I can see this being true. There are different size buds to go on the actual earphones, but the hooking them over your ears might be tricky if you’ve got small ears. I struggled, but I have terrible coordination and...the wire that connects them is curly and wants to pull them out of your ears! I’m currently trying to ‘straighten’ it out so it doesn’t fight me!! However I think they’ll be fab for what I will use them for once they’re ‘towing the line’ a little more, so the speak. Smile

NeitherNowtNorSummat01 · 14/09/2018 19:34

@LostMyRubySlippers thank you very much- that’s fantastic

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 14/09/2018 19:50

A cheap little stocking filler for teens is an earphone pouch ...loads on AliExpress for less than 50p delivered and probably eBay, Amazon etc too.

I bought them for my teens stockings last year and they use them to keep their earphones in in their school bags or when travelling.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 14/09/2018 19:52

PS. Those on the screenshot have delivery charges but you can refine the search free P&P (AliExpress)

Smellybears · 14/09/2018 20:18

Has anyone seen any offers for a cheap sand/water pit table?
Little ones birthday is in January so wanting to get some summer bits for the garden for Christmas and his birthday Smile managed to get a bubble machine reduced for only £2 from asda and a paddling pool for £4 from Sainsbury’s.
