Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Just seen on hot deals UK the Smyths spend 50 save 10 starts next Tuesday.

Kraggle · 21/09/2018 10:09

Found these in my local little Asda so always worth checking out. Playmobil hospital, some sort of camper for barbie type dolls and a fast and furious rc car £30 each. Also 900 piece classic Lego for £18.

CarrotVan · 21/09/2018 11:52

@smellybears - in the M&S at the Trafford Centre they are in the main spirits aisle

I may have bought some this morning

BonnesVacances · 21/09/2018 11:53

Can anyone suggest something for a 16/17 year old boy for around a tenner please?

FuriousFifties · 21/09/2018 12:28

BonnesVacances tricky age 16 and 17 year olds where cash is sadly king. Mine always appreciate a pair of headphones though. Amazon have a good selection in your price range and not bad quality.

Dolceandgabbana14 · 21/09/2018 12:29

Thank you for the Whistlefish heads up. Just ordered tins of notelets (3 for £15) and some pretty floral tins for £1.50 each, which I will pop some sweets in for teacher presents. WISH10 worked to give me 10% off and it's free delivery over £20 as well.

Their Christmas cards look beautiful, but I'm trying to stick to a strict budget this year!

SimplyPut · 21/09/2018 12:41

Bonnes DS is that age group and would appreciate;
a voucher - Nando's, Cinema, Amazon, Lush, Topman etc.
Cool socks.
Light box.
Stationary.
Sports biography.
Or cash [santa]

KitKatCHA · 21/09/2018 12:45

Imaginext Batman cave half price £25 down from £50

Also ordered these skull ice cube moulds for my Halloween party, £3.99 using code EV76YY4G

KitKatCHA · 21/09/2018 12:52

Meant code QY53RSW8 for the ice cube skulls Blush

mycatislickingherpaw · 21/09/2018 13:05

Don’t need the M&S liquors but after reading about them so many times here got this urgent feeling that I have to fill my cupboard with them, and obviously my local one has none! Really crossed about not getting the things that I didn’t need AngryAngry

Smellybears · 21/09/2018 13:27

I know there’s a code on here for a photo mug already, but does anyone recall any bargain photo mugs closet to Christmas? Thank you!

Kraggle · 21/09/2018 13:29

Not Christmassy I know but you guys are the ultimate bargain hunters!

I need a new handheld vacuum as mines just about given up, don’t really want to spend more than £40 but want a good one if anyone can recommend any.

springsummerautumnwinter · 21/09/2018 14:07

Thank you KitKat just ordered some skull ice moulds. My DP will be very pleased with them.

Alanamackree · 21/09/2018 14:16

Just seen on hot deals UK the Smyths spend 50 save 10 starts next Tuesday thanks @DanceDanceDance80 Does anyone know if you can click and collect during the sale? I’ve been watching a particular lego set in Smyths and stock is always very low in my local store.

NoWordForFluffy · 21/09/2018 15:15

That's a great price for the Imaginext Batcave. Our two LOVE it!

Greystar · 21/09/2018 15:51

After ordering a book from Wonderbly they've sent me a 20% off code but needs to be used by end of play tomorrow if anyone can make use of it? THANKS879

sizeofalentil · 21/09/2018 15:52

Not a discounted thing, but one of my favourite small indie shops, Mamashack has started to make personalised Christmas sacks.

I was gifted a couple of these personalised changing mats when DD was born.

Some lovely bits there for babies / first Christmas gifts. If you follow them on fb there's often discounts and deals.

babypossum · 21/09/2018 15:57

Does anybody know of a website to buy Xmas presents (from children) for their mum and dads at the school Xmas fair? Need to be under £1.50?

DanceDanceDance80 · 21/09/2018 16:04

Regarding smyths. I might be wrong but I think it's in store only and not click and collect. Someone correct me of I'm wrong.

sizeofalentil · 21/09/2018 16:31

This 6-letter name train from Amazon is a cute stocking filler.

DelurkingAJ · 21/09/2018 16:35

We got phone covers from Photobox a couple of years ago. Really impressed. Not desperately bargainous but they do do discount codes!

hmslfc · 21/09/2018 16:40

Thank you Lostmyrubyslippers Smile

Theimpossiblegirl · 21/09/2018 16:54

Quite a few bottles of reduced liqueurs left in the m&s food in Weston Super Mare. Just happened to be passing today and remembered this thread so stopped off.

Pebblesandfriends · 21/09/2018 17:04

Thanks for the whistlefish tip, XMAS10 worked for me. Teachers Christmas gifts sorted!
