Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Re: fashion wheels .... for girls who like these, have a look at Klutz Paper Fashions. Lovely books of patterned papers, trims and templates to cut out and make 2D outfits. It comes with miniature hangers to display them on too.

Usually around £10

Hedgyhoggy · 14/09/2018 11:16

Looking out for more Lego friends houses. We only have Stephanie's and the rest seem to be over £100. Worries about some sites not being legit

I Remember there were offers on the Golden Ticket book last year. Can any one remember if the discount was better than the current £15.99
(Soft back) or £21.59 Hardback? I could do with 3 this year but wondered if they might become cheaper yet.

Pearlton · 14/09/2018 13:09

I think those Asda tree pots must've gone, I can't see them on the website (although my internet is loading everything up verrryyy slowly today so might've missed them!)

I went into Sainsbury's yesterday, there were lots of discounts on electricals. There was a lee Stafford travel hairdryer and travel shampoo/conditioner set with a rose gold storage bag for £10. I think Revlon or Remington heated rolls in a kind of cylindrical capsule thing for £15, other hairdryers and curlers/straighteners, heatproof holders, men's electricals etc.
There were offers on beauty products, I think it was clearance - Korres (natural, smells amazing) stuff full size containers all £1 reduced I think from £10 each.
I'm going to make up sets of the Korres stuff myself and wrap with cute mugs and fluffy socks maybe in cellophane.

Pearlton · 14/09/2018 13:16

Just tried to get links for all this stuff and either couldn't find it or full price on Sainsbury's website. I definitely wasn't going to buy more WinkWinkIt seems there is a general home and electricals sale, maybe it was old stock the store had!

Beagadorsrock · 14/09/2018 13:32

New to these threads - all I have is links to the Boswells sale - always a few (random) nice things:
Christmas themed wrapping, some heavily discounted:
Christmas Joy bags
Wrapping paper

And I like this (not discounted) :
jigsaw puzzle advent calendar (£14.99)

Also, the learning resources site has a small sale on educational toys:

Now for my question: can anyone explain to me the Studio payment options? Do they not take normal payment, do you have to enter into a credit agreement with them?

Alanamackree · 14/09/2018 13:57

Thanks for the camera links (rushing now but will look properly at them later)

Quick one for Irish bargain hunters: Mr Price has LOL activity packs for €1.49. They’re €3.99 in tesco and a nice stocking filler for lol-obsessed girls.

@Beagadorsrock for Studio you don't have to enter credit agreement, if you don't then they invoice you when you receive it so you pay it at that point

OnMyWhistle · 14/09/2018 14:43

Just ordered a My Golden Ticket book for my daughter - thank you

Onlyfools · 14/09/2018 14:58

Is there a free delivery code for wonderbly? I’m reluctant to spend £19.99 on one book although think my son will like it.

Drummingisfun · 14/09/2018 15:08

There's no xmas stuff in our home bargains yet, it's all Halloween sweeties and related plastic tat.

Singingitoverandoverandover · 14/09/2018 15:21

vtech toot toot stunt set £13.99

Singingitoverandoverandover · 14/09/2018 15:31

Can anyone recommend good safe wooden toy brands for babies/toddlers? Apart from the usual Mellisa and Doug type.
I’m sure someone mentioned before and I’ve forgotten. Looking at studio ones but I’m not sure of sizes or quality unless anyone knows? The Noah’s ark etc look lovely though.
There is some cheap stuff on amazon but you never know what you are getting,I think it comes from China.

Thanks

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 14/09/2018 15:45
