Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Tesco’s has Christmas themed chocolates out for 3 for £1.50 or 2 of the bags of coins for £1.50. Popped in for some other bits and got very distracted by one aisle of festive treats!

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 09/09/2018 13:10

liquid there's a thread on the Christmas board about what people think the must haves this year are going to be.

My dd is just turned 6. I have bought a wrapple and pomsies Luna - she adored her fingerlings last year so I'm sure these will be a hit (she will get one dd1 the other) I've also bought a rainbocorn - unicorn, surprise egg, cuddly toy and reversible sequins everything that she loves! Plus a shopkins lil secrets doll and playset - these are similar to Polly pocket though.

SimplyPut · 09/09/2018 13:10

Thanks folks, bargain mix are currently out of stock and the eBay one has cracks noted in this description. So far £79.99 is the cheapest that's available.

I know she will play with it, just hate paying full price! Confused

thaegumathteth · 09/09/2018 13:11

If anyone sees the barbie made to move dolls for £15 or cheaper PLEASE let me know. They’re the ones with moveable joints and they’re so much better than normal barbies and dd loves them but they’re not very easy to get and even when you can find them they’re £20+

imsorryiasked · 09/09/2018 13:14

Also worth remembering to check zeek for discount gift vouchers (e.g. the entertainer currently available for 6% discount) and using quidco / topcashback for extra savings.
@Reastie maybe worth putting in starting posts next time?

margaritasbythesea · 09/09/2018 13:26

EU25 gives 25% off at Dorothy Perkins until midnight. The email says ´everything´ which suggests sale too though I haven´t checked.

Thanks for the new thread Reastie.

Theimpossiblegirl · 09/09/2018 13:40

Gutted the Spode dinner set is sold out already. I'd just dug out the credit card to order 2. They are lovely, an excellent buy.

QOD · 09/09/2018 14:03

Having downsized 2 years ago🤦🏻‍♀️ we are upsizing again hopefully before Christmas and I will be buying ALLLLL the special Christmas crockery in the January sales 🤷🏻‍♀️
FYI downsizing the house is fine. Having no frigging storage sucks

Singingitoverandoverandover · 09/09/2018 14:12

@thaegumathteth £15.99 amazon close enough?!

Singingitoverandoverandover · 09/09/2018 14:13

Actually £15.78 with other seller on that link 😂

thaegumathteth · 09/09/2018 14:14

@Singingitoverandoverandover thanks . That’s one of two dd has already though.

Singingitoverandoverandover · 09/09/2018 14:15

thae £15.99 for the cool looking martial arts one aswell (order now and get when available though, as temp out of stock)

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 09/09/2018 14:20

Sainsburys have lots of Lego reduced atm. Got a cute Lego Friends Junior Ice Cream Truck £12 from £18. Looks a decent sized gift unlike lots of Lego boxes which are tiny despite being £££ Hmm

Also I know it's been mentioned that Tesco have their Christmas chocolate tubs out for £5. Is that the best price do we think? I have £4 in my head but maybe Brexit is hitting the choc hard...

spub · 09/09/2018 14:22

@ohholyfuck
If you google Dave Grohl tea towels you should get a couple of options and sellers - I got my brother one last Christmas but as he's a minger who doesn't do drying of dishes, I mounted it in an Ikea frame and it's a really cool framed picture instead! Smile

ismellsnow · 09/09/2018 14:25

@ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual I think Morrisons had them either for £4 a single tub or in a 2 for £8 deal, can't remember which, sorry!

SchrodingersRat · 09/09/2018 14:25

Nesti Dante (luxury soap often recommended on Style & Beauty) pack of six £12.50 down from £21.00 on Amazon.

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 09/09/2018 14:30

Thank you @ismellsnow! Yet another reason for me to visit my new local Morrison's...

Reastie · 09/09/2018 14:31

Thanks imsorry have done

ohholy I have a Grohl-obsessed friend too. I got her a mug on Moonpig once that I'd designed with lots of pics of him, saying "what if I say I'm not like the others, 'friends name'?" She loved it and it wasn't expensive

SymphonyofShadows · 09/09/2018 15:01

I've been on these threads for several years but I have no toys to buy this year. I'm all over the other bargains though. Can anyone remember when MSE release their deals predictor? It's been very accurate in the past for Soap & Glory and the big M&S reduction

woodwaj · 09/09/2018 15:02

Isadora2007 · 09/09/2018 15:05
