Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Has anyone bought the Glow tracks/magic tracks for their kids?

DS has asked after seeing advert. Just wondered if it was any good?

GummyGoddess · 26/08/2018 18:30

Someone mentioned flow rings, there were two different sizes in Smyths today for £1 each, can't find them for less than about £3 elsewhere. Bought one for poorly dc1, it's really fun!

AdamBarlowsQuiff · 26/08/2018 18:35

Ahhaha @woodwoj I've only two and one is a toddler! Thanks you lot, yes my garage will be well equipped for parties/school raffles/party bags..

Reastie · 26/08/2018 18:59

Shortbread how do you convert clips from YouTube to mp3?

Mustangsallyis · 26/08/2018 19:11

@singingitoverandoverandover DS was given a Galt Rainbow Lab present for his 3rd birthday. We've been doing a couple of the experiments with him this evening (it's mainly colour based - some chromatography, creating coloured crystals and crystal rainbows, and that one where you change the colour of flower petals using coloured water). Everything required has been provided so far and DS has enjoyed it, mainly watching! It's for ages 5-8, so could work for you? It's a whole range of STEM stuff that Galt do from what I can tell

wafflethewonderdog · 26/08/2018 19:22

@Reastie
If you google converting YouTube to mp3 there are a few sites that do it.
I've always used axconverter. You just copy and paste the YouTube address in.

Party pieces now have their sale on and have some nice bits - www.partypieces.co.uk/meri-meri-nutcracker-advent-calendar-1.html this in particular I thought was very pretty (but DD isnt due til next week so she’s a bit young for it 😂)

Reastie · 26/08/2018 19:49

Thanks waffle, I’ve just been looking it up but it’s all a bit complicated for me [useless]

imsorryiasked · 26/08/2018 20:11

Thanks for the heads up for the our generation ice cream truck, I have just got one on eBay for under 70quid, it's pre-owned and a few accessories are missing but DD won't care at all (or notice really)

BadgerFace · 26/08/2018 20:27

I’m sorry I haven’t seen the Happyland advent calendar reduced before but two years ago I bought it in the ELC 3 for 2 September sale so I got the advent calendar, one of the big cottages and the Happyland bus for £50 instead of £72, which wasn’t cheap but made each item a reasonable price (and one was a birthday present). Not sure if that helps? The advent calendar was great, all of the days are good play pieces which we play with all year round as opposed to some of the playmobil advent calendars we’ve had over the years.

Reastie · 26/08/2018 20:39

Getting towards the end of the thread and I missed loads with being on holiday, have I missed any goodthread titles?
