Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

RaggieDolls · 25/08/2018 23:24

Thank you imsorryiasked Flowers

Also big thanks to the person who recommended the discounted Seventeen make up on Boots.com. It’s taken me a while to get round to looking, but very glad I did.

I can’t remember if anyone has recommended the Zoomer Show Pony yet. It has been on my radar for a while as it is £28 at Amazon (down from £80). I assume it’s cheap as there is a unicorn version now out (at £80). We saw one at a friend’s house last week and both DD1 (aged 5.5) and DD2 (aged 2.5) LOVED it! My friend said it was quite good as teaching the pony tricks involved skills similar to coding and there are different levels so it can grow with them. It also made fairly realistic pony noises so not too annoying compared to other noisy toys IMO... I’ve bought one for DD1’s birthday in early Jan.

Thank you for LaRedoutecotton bedding recommendation for children. Am I right in thinking it doesn't come with a pillow case though? From what I can see, you have to buy them separately and the pillow cover is a French square shape?

SheStoodInTheStorm · 26/08/2018 08:35

Lacypants · 26/08/2018 08:45

I think I've looked at every ice cream truck themed toy going but if anyone sees anything once cream truck related could you let me know? DD (7) is mad for ice cream trucks

NoWordForFluffy · 26/08/2018 08:53

There's definitely various Lego ice cream-based sets. I think Lego Friends especially.

NoWordForFluffy · 26/08/2018 08:57

@Methenyouplus4, I've just looked and I think you're right re the pillowcase.

Teabird · 26/08/2018 08:57

Whatwillicallmyself. The offer is instore only I'm afraid, hope you have one near you.

Alanamackree · 26/08/2018 09:03

Thanks @Singingitoverandoverandover

imsorryiasked · 26/08/2018 09:14

@Lacypants if you search Amazon for "ice cream van" there is a light and sound diecast model by teamsterz and also a bedding set, and an apron?
I'm assuming that is the van/ truck she's into rather than just ice cream?

LikeSilver · 26/08/2018 09:28

@JurassicGirl hang on for the Lego Friends calendar - last year Asda had two days where all their calendars were reduced to £10-15 (rather than £20-30). I got DH’s Lego Star Wars one then. I wish I could remember when it was but I can’t! Keeping an eye on it.

whatwillicallmyself · 26/08/2018 09:32

Teabird thanks for that I was driving myself mad going through their site trying to find them😕

Singingitoverandoverandover · 26/08/2018 09:33

lacypants does she have an ice cream van storage thing?this storage chest is also a seat and is an ice cream van? £20 down to £4.99 at the book people?

Also Lego juniors do an ice cream van set, mothercare rosebud wooden stuff used to have one maybe not anymore..
willow have a die cast one I have seen thts very detailed.

Hey, just been on the works website and they have squishies reduced to 75p then half price with the code SQUISH. That's 37p. Just picked some up for my kids for stocking fillers...they love squishies!

Boffered1 · 26/08/2018 09:45

Tesco have 30 sharpies reduced from £25 to £10

margaritasbythesea · 26/08/2018 09:50

Quidco also have 17% cashback at The Works.

Lacypants · 26/08/2018 09:56

The Shopkins one looks like she would like it, and now I'm thinking about the kinetic sand ice-cream sets too. I've just found a pop up tent that is an ice cream van too, so I'm considering that plus a load of ice cream shaped squishies for her to sell.

HoratioCaine · 26/08/2018 10:30
