Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Is there a way of watching a thread on a mobile? I cannot see anything to press above the first post sorry.

Scoleah · 16/08/2018 22:18

Sorry @Reastie I posted before seeing your Link instructions! Blush

Coldilox · 16/08/2018 22:19

Ha! Can't believe I inspired the thread title! It's my second in three years Grin

Scoleah · 16/08/2018 22:20

@FairIsleQueen on my iPhone. See where the Thread title is there's a little arrow. Slide your finger left and the option comes up

Does anyone have a recommendation on the best Playmobil set for an almost 3 year old boy? We didn't get into playmobil with my eldest so it's all new to me.

FairIsleQueen · 16/08/2018 22:25

Thank you Scoleah Smile

Sophisticatedsarcasm · 16/08/2018 22:27

Get on to studio and they do some good Christmas wrapping paper gift tags for good prices and the paper us quite good.

confuddeledconfuddel · 16/08/2018 22:30

Does anyone know what real world toys would be and where I would find them?

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 16/08/2018 22:32

I found a massive 25m roll of brown paper on Amazon that i'm going to wrap presents in, £4.11 and free delivery i think it was. I just searched for brown wrapping paper, if that helps anyone.

Sainsburys have got some Harry Potter and Jurassic Park stationary in the sale bits at the minute, picked a few bits up for nieces and nephews

Looking for a set of harry potter bedding for a double bed if anyone knows of any?

Especially looking for nice stocking bits for 30+ year old men and women, i do one for a brother and a sister every year but i'm starting to run short of ideas this year

Givealittlebit · 16/08/2018 22:33

Any way to avoid delivery charge for Oliver bonas? I'm under the amount for click and collect but have found a gorgeous scarf I'd love to get my sister!

Givealittlebit · 16/08/2018 22:34

@OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack primark has HP bedding, not 100% sure of quality but I've had other sets from there before which are fine!

Trialsmum · 16/08/2018 22:58

@OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack. I’ve just bought the white Hogwarts duvet cover for DS today and can confirm it’s good quality, not that awful slippy stuff where the duvet ends up at the bottom every night. It was £18 and there was some lovely cushions etc to go with it. Ds bought himself a black fluffy one which is lovely and snuggly.

hoopdeloop · 16/08/2018 22:59

NC4T, we got my DS the fire engine and fire station for his last Christmas and he loves it, lots of play out of it. He also has the pirate ship which he loves

The Primark duvets are suprisingly good quality-at work (nanny) there’s 2 or 3 HP ones in rotation on onc child’s bed, due to bed wetting they get tumble dried and washed ALOT, they’re all a year old and all are still excellent-no bobbles and the fabric is softer but by no means worn

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 16/08/2018 23:08

And I use primark bedding and find it all the same quality if anyone’s interested

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 16/08/2018 23:16

thank you for the primark tip for the HP bedding. I live about half hour from the tottenham court road primark so will plan a trip in the next month or two . Quite fancy a set msyelf but it's actually meant to be for my younger sister haha

onenight at that store, they have a whole section dedicated to Harry P (ground floor at the entrance opposite the Dominion) and that where the bedding is...not with the other bedding in the home section...just to stop you having to wander aimlessly!

There are often hidden gems on this website. The Green Toys Rocket and Train are currently both half price 👍🏻

LilMadAgain · 17/08/2018 01:00

QOD · 17/08/2018 04:15

Ahhh I’m still bitter about the shark cat beds from Ali Express 😂
Still shop regularly from them though
Often drunk shopping ...

Theimpossiblegirl · 17/08/2018 04:44

I'm still bitter about Hush and that skincare company. :)
Mostly we do very well with these threads though.

gaggiagirl · 17/08/2018 04:58

I'm also still bitter about hush!
