Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

@ScandiLady what palette did you buy for your dd?

Rockhopper81 · 18/08/2018 21:35

Just ordered 4 windcheater jackets from Gap for 3 of my nephews and a niece (one family unit) - £28 for the 4 with the further 50% off sale code! Off to have another look now I’ve ordered those - didn’t want them to sell out before I’d looked at everything else!

gaggiagirl · 18/08/2018 21:36

I love my magpie items so much I placed another order today. The code EXTRA20 still works.
Ive attached a photo of my tray. It's sold out now but I'm so happy with it it's huge.

Singingitoverandoverandover · 18/08/2018 22:15

FireflyGirl · 18/08/2018 22:28

Think it's just me fussing, @Singingitoverandoverandover.

I didn't go on the Gap site originally, so didn't realise that everything is now 40% off but not 'sale'. The NOWGAP code only applies to items in the sale, which end in .99., not items on 40% off promotion. Wanted to clarify for anyone else who might wonder why it's not working.

Mallowmarshmallow · 18/08/2018 22:37

Hi all

Is it really naughty to ask what the polly pocket deal was on thread one? I've searched back as far as my tired eyes will allow but I couldn't see it....

Many thanks

Chippytheelf29 · 18/08/2018 22:40

Can someone please remind me what the gap code is? I've googled and tried NOWGAP on sale items ending in .99 but it's saying it's not valid.

SheStoodInTheStorm · 18/08/2018 22:42

@Mallowmarshmallow there was no deal - just pre-order available on Amazon Smile

Youvegotafriendinme · 18/08/2018 22:44

Can't believe I have started my christmas shopping in August thanks to you lovely people! Huge thanks to whoever posted that Magpie have restocked - have just placed an order for 2 screw boxes and also collected Boots17 order today. I picked up a few homeware bits in Primark today for older teens: A4/A3 black/copper letter boards with white letters reduced to £4/£5; copper firefly string lights priced at £2.50 but went through till for only £1.00; copper firefly string lights with 20 pegs £3. Also twin packs of really soft decent quality cushions reduced from £8/pair to £6. Limited colours grey/taupe/cream (I think) but look much more expensive and beautifully soft. We got some for DDs new Uni room. Any suggestions for quirky reasonably priced stocking fillers for 16 year old boys into gaming, science and animals would be appreciated. Thanks :) Also whoever posted a while ago about fitness trackers - I got some from Ali Express last year after getting link from the boards here. Think they were about £14 each. Boxes were a bit squashed but they worked fine and are still being worn.

Singingitoverandoverandover · 18/08/2018 23:32

Lego duplo my first emotions £17.99 down to £10

Weelis02 · 18/08/2018 23:44

OutnumberedByFurchesters · 19/08/2018 00:05

Also from my mooch round The Entertainer today... sold out online but was loads in my local store so may be worth a peek on Monday when they open again...

Playmobil lights and sound Police van was £39.99 reduced to £19.99

LikeSilver · 19/08/2018 07:34

Thanks for the play doh bargains at The Entertainer! The godchildren and one niece are sorted now and I sneaked one for DS too as he loves play doh.

My mum has a pair of Mahabis too and my DH is rolling his eyes as he does every year Grin

starryeyedsnowgirl · 19/08/2018 07:56

The joules eBay outlet here usually has a great sale selection even when joules doesn't. Delivery is free and there have been loads of codes recently for money off eBay so you may be able to work them together.

starryeyedsnowgirl · 19/08/2018 08:12

Amazon things-

£3.50 popcorn maker (add on item) here

Nice A4 weekly planner pad £1.80 here A5 one listed further down page £1.44. Both add on items.

Next level DIY slime book £3.00 here

Cranium game (we LOVED this as children to play as a family- probably when at least age 10 I would say) £12.50 here

These are all listed on camel camel as at good prices for Amazon at the moment, remember though Amazon isn't always the cheapest.
