So we're nearly there now, I'm counting down on one hand the number of sleeps!

Still time to post info on Christmas bargains but I'd also love to hear how the gifts you got went down on the big day and also share notes on sale finds

DVD no good as he won't watch tv yet, would rather climb everywhere

Been RL shopping this morning in John Lewis, Molton Brown & Carluccio’s.

Quiet! but was there first thing

JL had crackers and some other Christmas crockery and tableware reduced by 20%.

albus try the DVD of tom and jerry a nutcrackers tale.

Although it's a full length DVD rather than short t&j episondes, it's lovely. Also has the advantage that it's to the music of the ballet the nutcracker so it has a lovely soundtrack, but it's the sort of thing you can dip into and out of - there are lots of scenes that are very very funny, in a slapstick cartoony way that doesn't need words. If it's on in the background you might find it pulls him in to watch a few bits and laugh lots and if not then there's some nice background music instead of the usual noise that kids tv often makes!

Totally twitched on the story cubes. Thanks for posting about those.

*Albus, I don't put much in the xmas eve boxes. It's usually just new pyjamas, The Night Before Christmas book and now the 'Santa is coming to... book plus a bath bomb from Lush and perhaps a small chocolate each.

In Penney’s in Ireland they had Santa writing pack down to 25c so I’ve bought one and put it away for next year..

Amazon currently has the giant LOL surprise dolls in for £59.99. I am torn. DD REALLY wants one. But all the reviews are terrible!

Argh, a very unwelcome delivery of a vomiting bug has bestowed it's festive self upon ds2.

This has wrecked my careful plans of being off work for the rest of the week especially to wrap presents etc while DC at school! Waah!
