Still time to post info on Christmas bargains but I'd also love to hear how the gifts you got went down on the big day and also share notes on sale finds

You can set the search parameters to check as far as you want from your postcode, even the whole country and it lists by distance - just look for the green tick

I had our DC2 3 months ago near the beginning of the threads and have lost track a few times!

@GirlWithTheYellowHat Argos have a new feature where if you check stock online for your local store and it’s out of stock in that and the nearest five stores, there’s a box at the top which says something like “Happy to travel? It might be in store further away than you thought, but if you need it, you need it.” Then there’s a button which says “Tell me where”. If you click that it then tells you which store it is.

I just tried it with LOL Lil sisters ball and it came up with Chepstow Homebase which is over 70 miles from me.

Just wanted to say thanks to everybody for sharing all the tips, ideas, bargains etc. For me this year's top bargain probably were the Converse trainers with about 75% discount. Have given them as a birthday present in October and the 13 year old nephew was very happy about the present. Cannot wait to see what my 3yo DD will make out of billibos!

sagelynodding where did you get the fingerlings please?! I have one parcel not delivered and of course it's the fingerling that I cant find in the shops. Have tried Argos, Smyths, Toys R Us and Amazon and no stock!

My "d"p keeps rocking up home with expensive items for himself with absolutely no regard to the fact that I have probably got him these things (and probably slightly less expensive/fancy versions) as gifts for Christmas. I think I might have to LTB before the weekend is out or I might end up in a cell for Christmas!!!!!

There’s fingerlings in Morrisons in Rubery, Birmingham if you’re anywhere near! Tonnes of them, all colours. Smyths just down the road from there has purple and brown sloth fingerlings.

Does anyone know if Wilko or Asda or sainsburys have started selling off their toiletries sets cheap yet?! I know Tesco did theirs last week but I didn't manage to get much by the time I was able to go. Looking for something for my teenager niece around £4.

My Superdrug order arrived today in 2 boxes , they were needed tbf and everything was in stock , I am very pleased it was full of stocking stuff for my dds ....phew!
