Just checked my email and found a 20% off, whooop!!!!

At the end of August, the checkout Guys in M&S were saying "this month- the next few weeks " (I took it they meant Sept as it was 28th Aug or so).

Yesterday, I was told "oh, sometime in early October and you can order later in October" with raised eyebrows (he was young enough so probably not involved in planning "the feast" yet, and we had had a good chat about cooking steak while he very kindly split my purchases to use both my vouchers- they had rib eye and striploin steaks in the "3for€14" offer, and I bought loads of nuts for work too to use up the vouchers).

Bah humbug.

I've bought christmas bedding from matalan. Single for DS1, a blaket for ds2 (he's just turned 2 and still in a cot for another year) and a king size for us. Buddy our elf will leave them for us one morning. And an elf rubber duck, Buddy is going to take a bath :) also got a few other bits. And some jeans. Cos I can't stop eating and my 12 primark skinnies are feeling tight

I got a load of reasonably-priced Scandi stuff from eBay, whoever was asking that question.

I reckon we will get to at least thread 5, if not 6, before Christmas as it's only just ramping up really. How many did we do last year?

I only ever drink it with orange juice and Southern Comfort as an Alabama Slammer. Mmm...

Although saying that, I think I've had it in mulled wine before as well...

Good housekeeping has another m&s preview there today.. they are teasing letting little bits out.. I love Nutella. I got a huge jar in lidl for all my baking at Xmas.. I live Nutella cupcakes and Nutella buttercream 😍😍 roll on the extra Stone in December lol ..

I think this year I am going to buy boxes of nice (to me) chocs instead of the drums of heroes and celebrations, these look like a good one.

Saw those in Wilkos yesterday and resisted. I know I will eat them before Christmas and don't get me started on those coconut Ferrero Raffaello , I just lurve them my very favourite and the stollen in Lidls must not buy before xmas .

DD made me talk about Christmas after her bedtime story tonight! She'll never get to sleep on Christmas Eve if she gets any more excited!

The problem is, so much of it is designed for catering for the masses. Which I'm not doing. I'll have to buy carefully so we aren't overwhelmed by food! I've got £151 in Nectar points now, so I'll buy a fair bit of party food with that, I think.
