Annwithnoe are you sure she doesn't believe believe...my dd always curiosity and doesn't even believe in God at religious school still has a few wonton belief tentacles in FC. She's nearly 10 and has been asking for years.. I have always been vague... I think she knows now but doesn't want me too confirm it if you know what I mean... but she definitely carried on believe ing years ago after asking etc.

I'm feeling very impressed that I managed to get my Waddesdon Manor House tickets - I'm not surprised they sold out for the weekends - it's always stunning

In other news. My thread baby is 2 on Sunday!!!

Can't believe how quickly that's come around again, Sprout. It just passes so quickly. DS is 2.6 on Wednesday, and I'm so excited because he'll understand this year so look forward to it next year.

But I've seen some people on MN saying their 6 year olds don't believe in Santa any more. Surely you get more than 3 years of them believing?!?

Am I the only one who counts down in sleeps? According to my app it's 104 sleeps to 🎅 🎗

I believed until 9ish, my sister the same.

My brother is 7 years younger than me and we helped continue the magic until he was 11.

My youngest cousin had to be told at almost 12 because he was going to secondary and his mum didnt want him bullied.

TBH though we all still pretend, and I never admitted that I didn't believe, you don't get a stocking otherwise!

@HairsprayBabe I never admitted it either, and never will! I've always been a huge Christmas geek , from a very young age and have no intentions of ever calming down!

DH wasn't massively into Christmas when we met (he was mid 20s, worked in hospitality so hadn't had a Christmas Day off for yonks type) but when we got together he saw Christmas like he had never seen it before , and it was magical for him! He's now mid 30s and has been hugely into Christmas ever since (obviously nowhere near as much as me, but more than normal blokes)

Now we have DS1 and DS2 on the way, he gets even more excited!

@Muddlingthroughlife we count to Christmas Eve on this thread, which is why it's a day out (seemingly!).

Whoever announces that there are 99 days has to come and cook dinner for us all
