Sorry if stepping on toes, but I haven't noticed a twitch thread this year, so thought I would start one Smile
I've just twitched and bought a pair of heelys for ds(9), a ghostbusters proton pack for ds (4) and a candy grabber for dd (6). Tell me what you have all impulse bought.

SatsukiKusakabe · 01/12/2016 11:09

That looks lovely kinkydorito BUY HER THE DOLL! BUY HER THE DOLL! BUY HER THE DOLL!

And ohfuckoff, hold fire on the rat. Really. That's a new level of twitching.

I twitched on a watch for my husband. He has a watch graveyard in his drawer and I swore I wouldn't add to it, but I really want him to stop asking me the time...

OhFuckOff · 01/12/2016 11:57

It would be silly to buy a rat when we have four cats wouldn't it? Blush
watch graveyard Xmas Grin

Cagliostro · 01/12/2016 15:03

Is it still a twitch if I spend a voucher instead of money?!

Think I'm going to order a couple of bits for DD (genkoyoushi paper and brush pen for practising Japanese writing) and an a history craft set thing... but I can cover it with an amazon voucher I got via cash back... so...

OhFuckOff · 01/12/2016 16:11

It's definitely not a twitch Cagliostro perfectly fine do it now!

Badders123 · 01/12/2016 16:15

SadSad

Cagliostro · 01/12/2016 20:14

Thank you OFO :o

Oh noooo Badders I definitely don't miss Secret Santa from work!

I have sort of twitched as DD is desperate for a new leotard and shorts for gymnastics. But I've said I'm not just buying her it, she has to wait for Christmas.

Also been thinking of the one edible thing I'll put in the stockings. Had thought one of the cute little penguins or something from Hotel Chocolat but it's going to be SOOOO obvious as we've just got a new HC store in town and the DCs now how obsessed I am with it :o so I'm now thinking - thanks to flump posting above - I'll get them each an emoji lolly as DD's been after one of them for ages (yes, a poop one - it's cola flavoured).

Oh and I've changed my mind on the undies I got DD as I found some in H&M (emoji ones!) so I'll go get them and return the others.

I'm also going to need to get clothes as the kids won't stop growing, the buggers Angry. They have a t-shirt each that I mentioned at the start of the thread, and a hoodie/jumper each, and I know my mum has picked them up something so I'll wait until I know exactly what. And then get a few bits they actually need. They need shoes too though, they have canvas ones at the mo and it's just not warm enough :(

Cagliostro · 01/12/2016 23:33

Oh noooo now I'm tempted by a mini set of story cubes as they've finally started playing with their basic sets

OhFuckOff · 02/12/2016 02:55

Love story cubes, dd favourite are her moomin ones. I may have ordered a glowing heart dog and puppy toy thing

OP posts:
UnderbeneathsiesTheMistletoe · 02/12/2016 03:05

Stop... moomin storycubes you say?

I can feel the beginnings of a twitch Grin

Guitargirl · 02/12/2016 05:32

ooooh, emoji lollies? Where might I be able to find one of those please?

Disclaimer: it's not a twitch when you haven't finished shopping yet.

OhFuckOff · 02/12/2016 08:14

How did I miss the emoji lollies Xmas Shock

OP posts:
Cagliostro · 02/12/2016 10:00

The emoji lollies are in The Works (I believe that's a similar store to The Range in other parts of the country?) but they're called Lol Lollies 🙄 DD gazes lovingly at them whenever we are in the shop.

I got the moomin story cubes last year 😁 DS got Batman. They've brought out new character ones as well including dr who. Too tempting but I'm sticking to the little sets of 3 as they're only £4. Mythic set for DD (OBSESSED with greek mythology) not sure for DS yet.

I realised I have child free time tomorrow so hoping to get the last bits sorted then!

Don't know if you're near London btw but there's a new moomin exhibit thing at south bank centre. I NEED to go.

OhFuckOff · 02/12/2016 10:26

DR WHO....off to amazon

OP posts:
Cagliostro · 02/12/2016 10:42

Dear OFO - yay!

Dear OFO's bank balance - sorry :(

:o

I8toys · 02/12/2016 10:50

I just bought a fluffy motorized ball - that can clean floors or please kitties.

OhFuckOff · 02/12/2016 10:59

Xmas Confused the my Hermes couriers just drove past my house! In getting twitchy if I don't get a daily delivery, Xmas Wink

OP posts:
Guitargirl · 02/12/2016 11:15

Thanks for the tip about emoji lollies- am off to google nearest Works!

Cagliostro · 02/12/2016 12:11

I'm pretty sure the poop lolly will help convince DD of santa for one more year (she's 9 and has had a few wobbles lately) - she knows I think they're hideous and would never buy one :o
