Thanks celtic ordered

stealthsquiggle · 04/11/2016 21:37

Bocolate - I ordered an adult sized mermaid blankie for DD. It has arrived but I haven't inspected it closely. I will do so and report back.

AgnesBrownsCat · 04/11/2016 21:39

Pokemon annual down to £4 on Amazon. Use no rush delivery to get a pound towards a kindle purchase.

AtSea1979 · 04/11/2016 21:40

I want to get something food related for DD. I don't fancy chocolate bar maker or candy floss. Has anyone bought anything like a cupcake machine or waffle maker or something else that has worked and been good for kids to get involved in?

ChoccyJules · 04/11/2016 21:42

Hush have sent me a catalogue. It is going back in the postbox marked 'return to sender'.

KitKatCHA · 04/11/2016 21:43

Amazon have some pretty good discounts on Sylvanian Families, just got the Treasure Ship, Car and, Double Decker bus for the between 35-47% off each

Thekidsthatpukedxmas · 04/11/2016 21:44

Happyscrappy I can report I am the owner of a nearly 13 year old girl and New Look vouchers are always very much appreciated by her and her friends

ValiumQueen · 04/11/2016 21:45

Has anyone seen one of those hedgehog zoomer things below £20? I will not pay £40 plus for it even if it is all my daughter wants. At least she doesn't want a hatchimal I guess Hmm

Rigbyroo · 04/11/2016 21:46

Heaven we just got a ridgeback bike for £105, it's gorgeous and so light

eyebrowsonfleek · 04/11/2016 21:46

13 year old girls like New Look, Lush, Superdrug, H&M or Primark.

AtSea1979 · 04/11/2016 21:57

valium Argos seemed to have the best price on the hedgehogs

happyscrappy · 04/11/2016 21:57

Flowers eyebrow and thekidsthatpuked - I never would have thought of New Look!

PogoBob · 04/11/2016 22:06

ValiumQueen Argos have the zoomer hedgiez things for £24.99 if you can find a store with stock.

Tiggles · 04/11/2016 22:07

Ooh yes, ridgeback bikes are good - my second favourite to frog. Sorry we do a lot of cycling and I do love bikes!

cheerylilthing · 04/11/2016 22:14

I think someone was asking re baskets (yesterday?) - The Works have a few size variations & they come with selephane & ribbon to create your own hampers.

They have various picture books 3 for £5 too - authors include Julia Donaldson & the Ahlbergs. There's quite a few of the Henry & a Bucketful of Dinosaurs series in the Leeds store & lots of Christmas titles too.

Also if anyone is in Leeds with a 18mth - 7 year old there's quite a few BRIO toys in the TK Maxx on the Headrow incl the push along toy with blocks for £29.99. There's a ride on wooden aeroplane too for £29.99 down from £84.99.

I have received codes for Jojo Maman Bebe (10% & free delivery), The Little White Company & Cox & Cox (20%) via direct mail. If anyone would like my codes, let me know & I'll try & figure out how to send a message.

IHeartKingThistle · 04/11/2016 22:15

Atsea how old is she? Mine are too young and liable to burn themselves but they think our toastie maker is the best thing ever. Cheese and bean current favourite.

ValiumQueen · 04/11/2016 22:16

Argos doesn't deliver here unfortunately (Scottish Island).

IHeartKingThistle · 04/11/2016 22:16

Does anyone know if there are any George codes please?

CelticPromise · 04/11/2016 22:20

I have a code for Frugi that I won't use. £10 off when you spend £60 plus 15% off everything. Expires 22nd. Any good to anyone?

IHeartKingThistle · 04/11/2016 22:20

Iloveblue those look lovely - so the child has to build it before they can play with it, is that right? My DS (7) is a bit of a wannabe engineer - would they be good for him?

BocolateChiscuit · 04/11/2016 22:35

Thanks stealth, I'd really appreciate that!

Whatdoesaturkeydo · 04/11/2016 22:44

This months magazines subscriptions with free gifts - includes good housekeeping, men's health, gratis, Harper's bazaar, red, Elle and a few more

mags with gifts

iloveblue · 04/11/2016 22:54

Yes iheartking - they come will all the components pre cut. They have to read plans, sand, glue, maybe hammer a few nails. All the bits come in the kit. My DS is 10 and had one a few years ago - some adult supervision would be needed but I think 7 would be fine. I have just brought the basketball one for DS but am tempted by the Candy maze too.
