Thanks for the new thread Reastie - bright and early this morning!

Still no idea what to buy DH and he's the only one left to buy for! I'm veering towards a weekend away together somewhere but need to speak to DM first to see if I could persuade her to come here and look after the DC as taking them to hers would add about £350 and a hell of a lot of travel time to the weekend! Seems a bit of a selfish gift mind you as I'd benefit from it just as much as he would! Just cannot think of anything else he would want. Argh - why are men so bloody hard to buy for?!

UnicornMadeOfPinkGlitter · 31/10/2016 08:24

Any deals on an Xbox one? It's for my 19yr old so not worried about the rating of the game that comes with it although he's probably prefer something other than Lego. 😀

ChristmasEvePJs · 31/10/2016 08:27

Crikey your quick off the mark today! Xmas Grin
Does anyone know if new look ever discount men's clothing? Teen DN has requested jeans and a top from there.

InYourHonour · 31/10/2016 08:33

New look give new customers who sign up to newsletter 30% off, I assume it covers mens clothing too. It was on their homepage yesterday

StubbleTurnips · 31/10/2016 08:34

TobleroneBoo · 31/10/2016 08:36

MAJOR 20 gives 20% off at asos and they sometimes sell new look clothes

RJnomore1 · 31/10/2016 08:37

I buy quite a lot from La Redoute, I think last year they were probably surprised at the volume of orders tbh, their delivery is usually within a week. At this point I would happily order from them (did over the weekend actually, trying again for a leather jacket for dd)

SimplyNigella · 31/10/2016 08:42

ASOS have 20% off everything for 24 hours with code MAJOR20

Spottyladybird · 31/10/2016 08:47

Morning!

I'm done apart from stocking fillers and I need lots! Doing stockings for DH, DM, DF, DMIL and DFIL. DDs stocking is done!

Any ideas for stockings for grown ups?
So far I've got puzzle books/colouring books and chocolate. Also got DH a grow your own chilli and Christmas socks for the men.

RedHouses · 31/10/2016 09:19

Someone was looking for discounts on Fjalraven Kanken backpacks the other day. They sell them in asos so using the 20% off would be a good saving!

TheImprobableGirl · 31/10/2016 09:20

Placemaeking for later, I keep losing the threads!

HarshHush · 31/10/2016 09:26

I got my Cure&Simple bacon on Saturday having ordered on Friday. I won't put my code here as there is a referral thread on page 1. But it cost £1 and you can choose what you flavour you want. I opted for oak smoked pancetta and ate it today and ITS AMAZING! Comes in a 'dog proof' pack too so there is no munching of it on the doorstep.
Love it. And you can cancel in one click.

pantherfootballforever · 31/10/2016 09:26

If any of them have Amazon Prime Spotty you could choose an appropriate Dash Button for them. My DH is getting the Simplehuman one as we buy all our bin bags from Amazon anyway but you can get Ariel and Andrex and other brands too.

DH is also getting the obligatory pair of socks (always get a nice pair from Fat Face, White Stuff or Ted Baker), a book - this year he's getting this one. (He's an accountant so this should be right up his street, but there are loads in the series - DS is getting one based on history and DD one on ways to remember things called 30 days has September), and a nice tube of Deans mincemeat flavoured shortbread. He'all also get a chocolate orange and tube of sweets like the kids.

Last year he got a wallet ninja and light saber chopsticks among other things

ASpiderInTheBath · 31/10/2016 09:43

Ah I've been so busy, i'm struggling to keep up with the threads😫

Thank you so much to everyone who made suggestions about the books for a six year old 💐

I'm now wondering if anyone knows if/when bhs are likely to reduce their hampers. I had an amazing deal last year on a hamper from them for difficult to buy for pil. The hampers were half price and then they had another 20% off everything so got one for a ridiculous price! I can't remember what time of year they did it last year but I'm sure it was around now as I remember we had to store the thing for a couple of months.

Thanks reastie for another great thread and all the other bargain hunters.

Oh, nearly forgot my contribution, they had packs of 2 Tsum tsums in home bargains (the smaller rubbery ones) for 69p. I bought some from asda last week for £2.97!!

winewolfhowls · 31/10/2016 09:49

Are amazon still doing the buy a thirty pound voucher and get seven pounds of credit ? Could anyone be kind enough to tell me what to do if so. 🍻

verytiredmummy1 · 31/10/2016 09:55

Great thread title :)

winewolfhowls · 31/10/2016 10:01

Amazon have a star wars tie fighter nutcracker reduced to 9.99 from 34. A good stocking filler for a dh somewhere?

IHeartKingThistle · 31/10/2016 10:06

Do bhs still exist?
