Can anyone recommend any long last drawer smelly sachet things or hanging wardrobe ones? (I've done Laura Ashley and was looking for something different). Thank you!

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 04/11/2016 19:36

Garden I weirdly find garden centres quite helpful for that kind of thing! Or all the ones local to me, anyway...

Do Crabtree & Evelyn sell them? M&S?

Equimum · 04/11/2016 19:51

Matilda, I exchanged something bought in the last Argos 3 for 2. Most unhelpfully, Iwas informed by customer services that policies varied between stores, but mine was willing to exchange it for a different toy of the same value, that was also on the offer. When I asked about choosing a toy of a different value, I was told I'd need to return all three toys and make a new purchase.

Equimum · 04/11/2016 19:52

Sorry, posted too soon. Given the faff, I have only bought 'safe' things this time, and am ridiculously pleased that I managed to get six Playmobil carry cases for less than £32. That the next few party presents sorted Smile .

Matilda2013 · 04/11/2016 20:09

Equimum thanks for that. I've found a family member to take it for a different kid. They'll give me money and I'll get a replacement present Smile

Spottyladybird · 04/11/2016 20:13

Crafty Giraffe who do lots of Christmassy bits have 20% off with the code SANTA20.

OhHolyFuck · 04/11/2016 20:14

matilda I did that today - bought two paw patrol mash ems sets thinking there'd be different characters in each but when there wasn't I went back to the till who said to choose something else on the 3 for 2 and they'd either refund the difference or I'd have to pay the difference so in effect the one mash ems kit I kept would then be the cheapest and 'free' item
No bother about it though

Tiggles · 04/11/2016 20:36

Tacobello they are on the 3 for £10 but it doesn't show the discount in the basket. You have to click through to the actual checkout page, if that makes sense.

iloveblue · 04/11/2016 20:56

RoastieToastieReastie · 04/11/2016 21:00

Thank you 99, have updated.

This felt Christmas tree, what sort of aged children are playing with it? I'm imagining dd (5) is getting towards the top end of the age range?

Dogmatix34 · 04/11/2016 21:03

The woodworking sets look lovely. Do the pieces come already cut or do you actually cut them out?

BocolateChiscuit · 04/11/2016 21:05

Has anyone bought any (adult) mermaid blankets from Amazon and can recommend a seller? I'd like to buy some for my nieces but would like to hear some actual recommendations if possible.

Thank you!

AtSea1979 · 04/11/2016 21:05

Wow I don't check for a few days and this thread has moved on.

Sylvanian family anyone?

iloveblue · 04/11/2016 21:13

The pieces are pre-cut dogmatrix

Vistaverde · 04/11/2016 21:15

Not at all bargainous but this Reversible Chewbacca Hoodie would make a fab gift for a Star Wars fan.

SweetPeaPods · 04/11/2016 21:16

Reastie I have bought it for my 3 and 2 year old but haven't received it yet so not really sure.

CelticPromise · 04/11/2016 21:18

AtSea there is a post from today at about 16:30 about Sylvanians stuff.

Shoesarethebaneofmylife · 04/11/2016 21:20

Hope it's ok to join in here as I'm new to the threads. Got lots of bargains so far and looking forward to Black Friday.
Lidl have some craft stuff on their special offers on Sunday. They have coloured glue sticks for a glue gun. You can use these to make Christmas decorations like piping icing and letting dry.
Also, I have a lego obsessed 8yo and I've just managed to get this LEGO volacano set for only £8. Another gift ticked off Xmas Smile

insan1tyscartching · 04/11/2016 21:31

Remember someone asking for a toy brain for their little one Grin can report there are cuddly brains in Tiger for £4 I think.

Dogmatix34 · 04/11/2016 21:31

Thanks ilove

MammaGnomes · 04/11/2016 21:33

I have a basket worth £50 at yellow moon and that's with 15% off. I stopped myself from checking out! Does a 3 year old really need that much craft materials?????

happyscrappy · 04/11/2016 21:36

Flowersto whoever posted about the met police appeal..

So.. what do 13yo girls like????!
