Evening all!

Like last year, whilst Reastie takes a well deserved break, i am taking up the flag to start a new prequel thread.

Because again finishing the last one is depressing.

So....whose got any bargains?

Tesco (in store) had great reductions on Plum outdoor toys e.g. 8ft trampoline down to £14 and double metal swing and seesaw for £18.

Also, Wilkinson had loads of their sticking filler/party bag type toys at 75% off so loads of silly things for 25p etc.

Home Bargains have Star Wars Hot Wheels cars. The twin packs are £3.99 and singles £1.99. Had lots of others including Boba Fett, Hans Solo etc.

I've been looking online but not had much joy, but has anyone seen or read anything about PJ Masks toys?

Cloudybutwarm · 03/08/2016 20:35

There are currently no pj masks toys out Sad
Not even in America!!

FireflyGirl · 03/08/2016 21:01

Chad Valley 50pc wooden farm £19.99 from £39.99 at Argos. This looks amazing for the price.

We don't need this, we don't need this. ..

Also, walked past Claire's Accessories in town today and they were advertising buy 3, get 3 free on everything (except gift cards/ear piercing).

Just looked and no mention online, but they are advertising 30% off.

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 03/08/2016 21:09

Disney always do this, release a new programme but waste time getting the merch out there and miss making some extra bucks!

VoldemortsNipple · 03/08/2016 21:26

If you are crafty, I bought these personalised Christmas Eve boxes from eBay for 13.99. It comes flat packed and you have to put it together yourself but it's really easy. I've painted mine up and it looks fab and will last for years even though dd is 20 Blush Not the cheapest bargain but my Dcs love their Christmas Eve hampers.

I do like that box, very tempted.

Would it look silly taking it on a plane to Lapland? 😂 hand luggage

Might buy ready for next year.

cowssheephens · 03/08/2016 21:37

Now I'm already thinking of Christmas 2017!

Donthate · 03/08/2016 22:08

Voldemort did you ask for the different font?

Whatdoesaduckdo · 03/08/2016 22:20

In relation to voldermorts post check out this company

They are local to me and make all these wooden bits and bobs that then get bought up by "crafters" to be painted up and sold on - they gave a fab Christmas decoration bit - really cheap I bought lots of bits last year and spent a few happy weekends in November decorating them with my smalls

hereandnowtoday · 03/08/2016 22:23

Sorry if already mentioned but Amazon have lots of MLP Equestria Girls dolls really cheap at the moment.

RubyFlint · 03/08/2016 23:01

Just bought this lovely wizard string puppet half price at £11.50 on Amazon, bought for DD who will be 7.

Checked on camelcamelcamel and it's the cheapest it's been. Looks fab but will know more when it arrives!

Sorry I forgot to say, lots of great links on this thread as always, thank you. I picked up lots of goodies at dotcomgiftshop Flowers
Just wondering if anyone can recommend a decent lava lamp for nephew aged 13? Many thanks in advance.

LostMyRubySlippers · 04/08/2016 07:32

For anyone looking for personalised photo gifts, Groupon are doing £15 Snapfish voucher for £5. Looks as though you can buy multiples if you want to increase the value but does need to be used by early Sept so need to be organised!
Also not sure what's going on with Snapfish- think they have a new website & seems that not all products are yet available eg calendars

nickdrakeslovechild · 04/08/2016 09:32

Thanks for your replies on the playmobil! I think I can convince her that she wants the shopping centre, If not I will let you know GirlWithTheYellowHat It was just such a bargain.

I desperately need a Pocahontas Magiclip or Little kingdom doll. Its all DD talks about but it seems that they have never made Pocahontas in either of those.

There is a Pocahontas Figure Fashion Set on disney store in the US which would be perfect, but they don't ship here. Xmas Sad If anyone sees them on their travels I would be so grateful if you could let m know Flowers

SideOrderofChip · 04/08/2016 09:56

nick its on the american amazon site if thats a help?

donthate if you look though their other items, you'll find the one with the Disney font. Sorry eBay is playing up on my phone and would only load one page so I can't link to it. They also have a website and the items are cheaper if you go direct but the shipping cost more, so if you were just buying one, it works out cheaper through eBay.

RumAppleGinger · 04/08/2016 13:46

Just bout a lego star wars watch from John Lewis for less the half price. Only £7

m.johnlewis.com/lego-star-wars-stormtrooper-watch-multi/p/231372241

Most of their Lego offers are sold out but there are still a few on there.

Allhallowseve · 04/08/2016 14:03

Was just about to post link to John Lewis sale too. Just bought a cute Christmas book for £1 a guitar for £6 for ds and a nice wooden train set for one of the many birthdays that are coming up.

Sellotapewillfixit · 04/08/2016 15:15

Whatdoesaduckdo that laser cut site looks great. What did you use to decorate with? I am very tempted to do lots of Christmas tree decorations as this years 'present from the kids' project.

OutwardBound2016 · 04/08/2016 15:28

Nick also worth contacting Disney world direct, they have a whole team of people who can hunt stuff down and send worldwide. When I was there recently I saw really lovely little cases with small dolls and accessories and I think they do a Pocahontas (I got one for myself DD)

Mipe · 04/08/2016 16:19

Just ordered a mermaid blanket for dd (10), she is not really into mermaids but loves blankets and if you all love them so much they must be good! Smile
