The Twitch - How much did it cost you last year?!

Now I am nosy intrigued as to how much the dreaded 'twitch' cost you last year. I probably won't start twitching until at least the second week only December when things are getting wrapped... But it cost £140 with oh I don't think dbil has as much as dfil etc etc .

I've had a v bad twitch.

DH was supposed to be getting me some FatFace PJs. But the other day I caught him out and he's up to something. I looked at the top I got him, and felt guilt.

He left his sandal/slipper things at the end of the bed this morning and I opted ow worn they look. The sole has a big hole in.

So I found some other ones, better, v good quality. £55. Oh dear.

I need the Internet to shut.

I gloss over Black Friday on Amazon because books don't count.

Sis and I went to a shopping village yesterday and twitched to the tune of £190 between us.

I have removed all my money from my bank account, (there wasn't thousands) just so I can't spend any more.

I twitched for pickles and lego star wars sets today, I resisted the lego but gave in to the pickles.

I bought a tree that I didn't need in B&Q today. It's lovely though. £20 so a bargainous twitch.

Ok I think my present twitch is over thank goodness! Had a sobering realization that I need a new pair of glasses which will be crazy expensive... And I don't actually have any waterproof shoes/ boots so if this whole 'months of snow' thing happens, it's going to be rather unpleasant.

I'm hoping that sobering thought will be enough to stop any food twitching...

Oooh I'm twitching over pickles in nice jars (they had some in Sainsburys in nice rounded jars but they seemed to be quite 'sweet' pickles)

I've bought some mini truckles of cheese for snacking on with nice bread or crackers, and apples or grapes.

Suddenly ds doesn't seem to have all that much.

we have a bad twitch every year usually on christmas eve we buy a few extas for dds usually in excess of £200 hopefully we can refrain from it this year.

I keep getting the twitch and have to take myself off upstairs and look at DD's sack which is so full I can't fit anymore in and that gets rid of the twitch.

Thought I needed to get DP and my dad a few more bits but I really don't. Keep looking at their gifts to remind myself.

I will go and have the twitch in Aldi next week and come back with a trolley full of chocolate and treats so its not all bad!

I picked up my dunelm and toysrus twitches today. Fab bargains.

Oh no! I twitched for DS2 thinkjng Ds1 had loads more - bit he didn't!

Ds2's birthday is six week after Xmas though so should be able to juggle stuff..

but she does not need any smellies, I twitched already at Body Shop and Molton Brown and now everyone even fil is getting Body Shop/ MB toiletries.

I am going xmas shopping tomorrow, again. Lots of it more for dh, ds1. ds2. and dd. So everybody really.

Oh I like finishing the shopping to much to indulge any twitches. Shop and wrap rapidly so you practically forget what is actually in each present or put away in a cupboard and don't wrap until it is too late to do anything about it.

What the hell have I been doing all these weeks, glued to the screen and clicking away with my credit card? WTF was in all those boxes that arrived? Why do I seem to have hardly anything for anyone?

OTOH we are set up for years to come with birthday gifts for DD's friends.

I'm on edge because I've finally got my mom's gift off eBay. I had to bid. The auction ended yesterday and seller promised to send today but it hasn't been marked as sent.

It will come in time won't it?! Won't it?! I have no back up gift and it was quite expensive so can't afford much else. But I had to wait for the auction to end so couldn't get it any sooner.
It's being sent first class recorded so should be ok ( famous last words) as I think they say second class is still guaranteed to arrive in time if posted by the 18th. Oh god. Imagine my horror when it hasn't arrived by the 24th.

I have food twitches. I am only doing bloody bubble and squeak day but already I am twitching over whether I need to get more stuff.
We dont do family presents - sis to sis etc - any more. I am doing hm xmas crackers but and twitching if I have enough fillings. poxy xmas.
