Now I am nosy intrigued as to how much the dreaded 'twitch' cost you last year. I probably won't start twitching until at least the second week only December when things are getting wrapped... But it cost £140 with oh I don't think dbil has as much as dfil etc etc .

Tell me your stories Grin and make me feel better

Twitched and bought the DCs robo fish and hex bugs for stockings. Do I need tracks or something for the bugs? This is all new to me and I do so want to get it right. Xmas Grin

NewBeginningsSnoopy · 12/12/2013 03:40

I need a Van Gogh finger puppet thanks to this twitch thread God damn you! ;-)

ThisIsMeNow · 12/12/2013 07:19

Is the soap and glory set on sale today? I thought it was tomorrow ?

mileysorearse · 12/12/2013 07:29

Ah sorry, I read it as today but you are right it's Friday. I am not sure what day of the week it is at the moment!

ThisIsMeNow · 12/12/2013 07:39

Oh good! I'd planned to be in town at 9am for it tomorrow but can't make it today!

mileysorearse · 12/12/2013 09:12

Hope you get it, I think it will be available online too if you are quick. I am considering it for my best friend, I have her gift but I am not happy with it iyswim?

enormouse · 12/12/2013 10:47

Personal twitch at the bodyshop online - damn you 50% sale.
Bought myself some cocoa butter goodies for stocking fillers and a reindeer bath puff thingy (wtf?!)

And have gotten an email for 25% off at New look. Must. Stay. Strong.

Still planning on going into town next week. I'm kidding myself it's for the atmosphere and to see the Christmas market.

LovesToBake · 12/12/2013 13:03

Is there a worse culprit for inducing The Twitch than TK Maxx? If there is, I'd like to know about it. Just back from town. 30 weeks pregnant. Never again.

VivaLeBeaver · 12/12/2013 13:27

Lightening, there are tracks for the hexbugs. You can also make fun mazes for them with lego and a lego baseplate. You don't need a track for them but they are maybe more fun with one.

lightningstrikes · 12/12/2013 13:31

Yeah, I've twitched and bought a zip line thing to go with the hex bugs. I want to get more for me but will resist even though TK Maxx has a really good set for a good price.

Now getting twitchy about brothers gifts...

MuffCakes · 12/12/2013 14:24

I'm twitching, argh I know they have more then enough but all out it doesn't look much. They have about 20 presents each (not inc stockings) and not all very expensive but it doesn't have the big pile wow. Have twitched and bought bean bags to make it bigger.

popcornpaws · 12/12/2013 15:19

enormouse Thanks for that, have just ordered loads from The Bodyshop online, and I didn't even realise I needed any of it…
I have one free day off before Christmas and like yourself was going to go into town, not that I need anything either, just to soak up the atmosphere.
All presents have been bought and wrapped but I NEED to have one last look round the shops!

TheHOHOHOnlyPink · 12/12/2013 16:26

twitch twitch twitch

Wrapped most of the dc presents last night. Was very happy with ds1 pile but just now he has mentioned that he hopes Santa brings the next in the series of beast quest. He has not. Wondering should I get it or hope that with everything else he will have that he will forget it.

Ds2 pile isn't as much as ds1, but he has a toy kitchen that is really big and the playmobil 123 fire station that's pretty big too, so wondering does it even it out or will I buy more duplo and a doctors set...

Luggage16 · 12/12/2013 16:42

I would def buy the book - in our house they dont count towards the xmas spend as we buy books regularly anyway!
I'm currently twitching debating buying dd a cd player for the play room. Her and ds have a castle to share but really its more for my son so wondering if it would balance it out a bit. Have spent way too much this year though so still debating. If she doesnt get it for xmas she will get one in the new year anyway as they could really do with one in there tbh!

TheHOHOHOnlyPink · 12/12/2013 16:49

Luggage, you are right, books don't count, that's for broadening his mind! and I'm eager to find out what happens next

the cd player would be lovely but if its not in your budget then there is bound to be bargains in the sales.

Luggage16 · 12/12/2013 16:57

I can find the funds for it but they have more than usual this year already - im twitching over how much is 'too much' iykwim. My son was incredibly easy to buy for this year so has more big presents than she does but the overall number is the same (they are 6 and 3)

im enjoying buying for them too much this year lol

50shadesofknackered · 12/12/2013 18:20

Oh God! I'm twitching! Thought I was done the other day and then spent another £80 on Amazon and I'm trying to resist getting more! Damn you Amazon! They make it Toooooo easy!!!! Now I'm stressing that I havn't got enough for the stockings, when logically I know I have. Can't wait till the shops shut on Christmas eve, then it's too late to buy more!

CremolaFirCone · 12/12/2013 19:36

£18.47 spent today on dd.f'sake.
Bad Cremola. Biscuit

TheOneWithTheHair · 12/12/2013 19:38

I twitched today. I got some dog tech thing for dd's iPod. It was only £5 though.

TheOneWithTheHair · 12/12/2013 19:40

It's like the world's best confession thread on here. Xmas Grin

WipsGlitter · 12/12/2013 19:41

I'm twitching. DS2 hadn't got as much, am planning on getting him a mr tumble and a tree fun tom thing. Also going to get myself perfume!!

Sparklingbrook · 12/12/2013 19:44

DH has tomorrow off. Double twitch. We are going into town for VERY SPECIFIC VOUCHERS ONLY.

TheGonnagle · 12/12/2013 19:50

Oh god I had no idea about the twitch, I thought it was just me.
I have an accidental extra Christmas tree this year. And I'm wrapping dd's presents tonight and I'm sat here looking at them wondering what else I should have found for her.
I'm avoiding the shops, that's OK. I'm just a bit worried about Amazon

2kidsintow · 12/12/2013 20:59

Just twitched and bought a DVD each. Snowman and Snowdog for DD2 and Scooby doo (the original oones) for DD1.

ZeViteVitchofCwismas · 12/12/2013 22:02

lovetobake agree., TK maxx is the worst!
