Since robotgate was beginning to fill up the third bargain thread I thought I'd start a dedicated thread here to save Reastie from having to write another mega op just a few days after the last one!

I haven't had my phone call yet and am actually excited for them to ring as I want to put my jargon into use (Is that weird??)

I have a dispatch date of 29th, really hoping that it shows up now.

Is anyone else worried about the reports of hope charging full price after delivery? I can barely afford £13 for the robot - definitely not £40!

My despatch date is the 9th now too :)

ipswich you could call and innocently ask where your robot is, then deny all knowledge of a phone call. The company doesn't seem to know what it's doing so you may get away with it!

I've just taken a call from a lovely lady at Hope who I spoke to on Monday and knew I needed my robot for the 10th and she has told me that it has been dispatched and I should receive it today! Nothing yet, will keep you posted.

Oh no it says parcelforce express 2 which I assume means 24 hour? I'm so excited! Dd has a ridiculous amount of presents...

I've just checked and mine says Parcelforce 2 and dispatched today so god knows how she thought I'd get it today BUT who cares? They're on their way!!! Wahoo!!

When did you all order yours? I don't seem to have an account so can't check progress (but they have my money and I have an acknowledgement e-mail). Was planning on ringing them Friday if I hadn't heard anything as my original dispatch date was 29th August.

I am very excited to think it might actually arrive!

lazza -I think I'm right in saying that most of us placed orders on Friday 16th (though some ordered on the Saturday and Sunday after that) Details of my account were contained in the first email Hope sent me along with a link and I just chose a password.

Lazzaroo, I think if you ordered you have an account, just log in with your email address and check your account history. I think I ordered on 19th Aug.
