Since robotgate was beginning to fill up the third bargain thread I thought I'd start a dedicated thread here to save Reastie from having to write another mega op just a few days after the last one!

I haven't had my phone call yet and am actually excited for them to ring as I want to put my jargon into use (Is that weird??)

I have a dispatch date of 29th, really hoping that it shows up now.

Is anyone else worried about the reports of hope charging full price after delivery? I can barely afford £13 for the robot - definitely not £40!

Well the money was taken from my account on 17th (ordered on 16th) and when I look online now it says 'status:cancelled'...I did email them last week (before I had read about the problems) and the person replied 'not sure when we are getting them in, will find out and get back to you' but I haven't heard since and they ignored my most recent email. THey haven't refunded my card and I shall be calling tomorrow (and trying to think of something sensible to say!!).

No news here either. Account still says to be delivered, with dispatch of 29/08, and no money refunded.

I just had a phone call from an unknown number and answered it ready to argue... And it was WHSmith telling me my order is in. Bit of a letdown!

still nothing this end although haven't checked credit card or hope account. DP reckons they just won't send out tomorrow and wait for everyone to phone up to complain. I do think it's far too long to hold onto our money if no intention to send out though X

I don't think they will wait for people to complain surely that would cost them more in terms of answering calls/emails etc?

I thought the same, I think DP just thought we wouldn't get the robot but the longer it goes on the bigger chance we have I reckon!!!

I know I'm trying not to get excited but they'd be really silly to not go through with the sale now

Mine still says to be despatched estimated at tomorrow. They've probably got so many to send out it'll take more than a day to do them all :)

I assume we'll just need to keep a look at our account tomorrow.

Lol waitmonkey I'm also anxiously awaiting the outcome of robot gate and I don't even really know what robot it's referring to! I hope you all get them though or I'll be very on you behalf!
