Morning all. So after receiving the text around the 15 week mark on Monday. Is that the last communication they have with you before an out come or do you receive another text in a few weeks?

Send off MR forms yesterday by record delivery. Levered this morning but the famous Dean signed for them!!!! I'm scared of Dean! Fighting for HRC for my little one.

I have been watching this thread for a while but first time posting. I applied for DLA for my 5yr old son who has autism (diagnosed), speech delay, and epilepsy. Scan date 02/11. We have received a back payment today. Looks like we have been awarded MRC and LRM.
We received two letters and a text on the 12/02. In total 17 weeks and 1 day. Good luck to everyone 🤞

Congrats! Did you get awarded until age 12?

@kaysash86 not sure yet. We haven't received any communication to say we've been awarded, just the back pay. Will update once I know.

Ok I asked because my daughter is the same age and has the same conditions as yours. She got awarded until her 12th birthday. Fingers crossed you get the same!

Just called I got what I seem a nice man but he couldn’t even be bother to look his counted the weeks oh yeah your pass 17 weeks you should hear in 3 weeks if not called and we get someone on overtime at weekend to look at it cheers then !! I give up now I’m just waiting until I hear something 🤞🏻hopefully soon either way so I can stop

Oh bloody hell! I’m not expecting anything til at least 17 weeks now. A week and a half to wait. I wish they wouldn’t send out letters saying 15 weeks if it’s not true. It can’t be 20 weeks for you surely

im on hold to DLA now I will up date probably in an hour or 2 when they answer 😂
my scan date is 20/11 which is why I’m even more confused as I’m a few weeks off everyone else yet, and the call was before 9am this morning

Currenty doing 2x MR recieved letter yesterday saying will take up to 11 weeks currently on week 2 so a wait ahead yet
Not feeling positive if is a negative outcome will be using welfare rights to do tribunal #fingerscrossed

awarded for two years (fair enough) we have a lot of investigations going on so I agree!

scan date 1/11 so exactly 17 weeks.

My scan date is 6/12 so a little while to go yet. I did have a question about UC if anyone could help me.

If my child is granted MRC, does that mean I wouldnt be expected to look for work? I think my marriage may be ending and I dont know how I could work with my sons school avoida ce and no family to help me.

It pays towards your national insurance. Worth doing, you'll just get that amount weekly as oppose to monthly on uc.

Ok so I rang, but if a weird phone call. Call handler named Pam. I could hear her dog and cats going passed, I was on loud speaker and I could hear myself echo after every word I spoke.
all she asked me was child’s ref, no security questions and all she could tell me is

not to worry they’ll try again??

I asked are we with DM, she said I can’t give you that information

I spoke to a Pam yesterday. Asking that if I’m meant to have a decision in 4 weeks and they still haven’t found his birth cert will the whole thing be delayed and all she kept saying was ‘we won’t talk about that right now’ so I’m still none the wiser
