How long at MRs taking ? I got a text saying 4 weeks but god knows that won’t be true

@mumtumok I was told 6-8 weeks, but the letter I got yesterday said 11 weeks

It’s horrible isn’t it. My eldests come through at about midnight. The school I want isn’t in our catchment area either really but they are better for SEND than the one my eldest goes to. We don’t have a diagnosis yet, but I added some notes to the application 🤞🏻. I will appeal this time if we don’t get in (I didn’t bother with my other as she’s adaptable) wine for me tonight methinks with a screaming baby and a difficult 3 year old on the go too! X

Yes I did beginning of October and they received 6th November.

That's what I'm hoping will happen. I'll prepare for a tribunal but hoping they change their mind and award before then. She has her ASD assessment in 2 weeks so the outcome of that will help as that was one of the points I was declined originally, that she didn't have a diagnosis, yet they say they just go on care needs. Nonsense the whole system.

@Busylittlebebe my heart goes out to you. I have no advice as to what to say. When I telephoned this morning I just explained that I was feeling incredibly anxious and just needed to know where we were I also needed to inform them of a couple of updates. In the end we just want the very best for our children. I’ll be crossing my fingers and toes that you get the outcome your daughter deserves ❤️

they seem to be ringing quite a few people. I never had this with my younger boys claim so I’m nervous for the call xxx

I just done a renewal for my soon was due to run out end of march I got it back today so you will hear a week or 2 before it’s due to run out

I'm 4th October scan date.
I'm so worried I'm gonna get declined.

No they didn't, when I called the lady said they will call up to 3 times. Nope our middle son also has dla never had this or the long wait. Lol.

I think it can take up to 3 working days?! Don’t quote me though. Don’t forget to ask for the disability and carer elements to be added and backdated to your UC claim too! X
