@Emma2345 Hiya, i didn't call to request forms as i already had them :) So i literally just have my scan date to go off 2/11 xx

@STEPH691 are we thinking next week for us then??

@bonz2023 Am thinking it could be the woman on the phone this morning was lovely and said to ring next week as it should be with someone. Let hope it’s get passed on the start of next week. 🤞🤞

How long did people wait for uc to add the carers element and disability element on to their claim? And then the back date pay? X

Scan date 16/11.

Just got off the phone after being on the phone for what felt like a lifetime. She was so lovely said that it’s in a holding pile should be with a DM any day should hear something by the 15th of March. Anyone else with a similar scan date?

Hi@Dollysmum37 its been 3 weeks since I updated uc about dla and requested for a backdated payment for disabled element and carers.they haven’t get back to me yet.the wait is ridiculously x

Yes 16/11 was told the middle of march on Monday when I called

Omg the wait times are driving me CRAZY!!
My youngest is on high rates & when we’ve done the claim and renewals and we didn’t have this wait at all. I can’t get it off my mind 🤯 and also nervous for a DM to call and ask me questions, sending me so anxious

Thought I’m off work today will ring again and pester because I know some people get an outcome the day after being told it’s with a DM, so today I have been told it’s in a holding Que and one of the next to go to a DM and to call back 28th march 😂
honestly I’m so baffled!
If I don’t hear if it’s a decline or award by 18th march I’ll give another call then.

Hi is anyone doing a MR and if so how long does it take? Been told 4/8 weeks not sure how true that is.. Thank you

Scan date 27/10 Awarded HRC and Low Mobility 12year old undiagnosed autism. He is home schooled so no evidence just my explanation. He hasnt been seen for an autism assessment yet been waiting 14 months so far. But literally had no evidence. I explained how he is extreamly anxious in public spaces and refuses to walk, which is why i home school, he has severe constipation due to limited diet and selective mutism. I Cant believe it, i was totally expecting a decline never mind high rate!

@Hood1991 I've got a MR in at the moment (on second week) and was told on phone 6-8 weeks.

I got a letter yesterday saying up to 11 weeks

so as usual the information is inconsistant

I'm 20/11 also told mid march to call at the end of march if I have not heard anything

3/11 for me so hoping not much longer the wait is awful be glad when it’s all over good luck to everyone waiting x

I’m 15/11 and was told mid March.

I'm 9/11, just rang and got through pretty quick. The lady said its still not with a DM but the times have gone down now in waiting she said its gone from 18 weeks to see a DM to 16, and with me being 16 weeks today it should be picked up any day now and I should know within two weeks, if I don't hear anything in 2 weeks to call back and they'll happily update me.

Can I ask - is this for people who are waiting for a renewal? Or first application? My renewal is due April and I got the scanned text in December as I applied sharpish. Does this mean they will stop paying DLA because they are so far behind? I rely on this money And I applied to renew as soon as I received the information.

this sounds exactly like my son. Also 12, also home schooled after secondary school tipped him completely over the edge!
awaiting ASD and ODD diagnosis. He has melatonin at night and sent in consultants reports as evidence.
mine is with DM since Tuesday and I am losing the will to live waiting!
thank you for giving me hope!

Sounds like there’s more order now… they are finishing final October awards and first week of November is going to DM’s with rest of us in holding queue.

I just keep thinking it’s going to be a decline and I’ll have wasted my energy. It’s just horrible waiting. We had no evidence apart from a letter from SENCO we’re just waiting for his assessments. He was age retained in September. He’s seemed so lost 😞 let’s hope these kiddos get what they need.
