Finally had a phone call today from a lovely DM, scan date 23/9 been awarded MRC and LRM, backdated to scan date. I’m in receipt of UC I do work, what else is it I’m entitled to with UC now? Iv read a few things on posts saying about getting in contact with Uc?

Hi congratulations on award just wondering did they call from a number or withheld? Currently waiting and had missed call from no caller Id and wondering if it was them.

0800 023 2635 was from this number, I was at work luckily had my phone out and manager let me answer

Oh ok thank you bet you’re glad it’s all over you’ve had a long wait. I'll keep eye out nothing worse when someone calls with no number and doesn’t leave voicemail :( also I think it’s the child disability element you will be able to get and should be backdated also

man’s if they told you your award whilst on the phone to them and length of it etc xx

Well finally this morning to a payment in my bank ,have to phone to know rates etc .
Scan date was 27/10 the relief is unbelievable .

I got a text yesterday to say that we have been awarded.
not sure what rate etc.
can I ask when you received a text?
I’m just trying to figure out when I’ll receive back payment.

I've not had a text last one was the 6th of Feb just woke up to a payment , I need to phone to find out rates .
I was told last week it was with someone on Friday so decision has been made and payment very quick .
I would assume you will be paid this week x

15 weeks today and nothing. I was stalking my banking app just incase 🤣. Great news for those who have finally been awarded x

Hi all, I phoned to chase up my COC/ further evidence that I sent in December 23. I was told this is taking 21 weeks at present. My child's claim is due for renewal in March and the lady on the phone said the renewal will get seen sooner than the COC so get your renewal sent in and send in the extra evidence with this.

She said they like to look at renewals before they are due to renew so if it is continued there is no breaks in payments.

Realistically.... With the wait times with it all, are renewals really being renewed on time ? or does anyone know how long they are taking?

Just went over the statement details, the elements and dates DM awarded from actually awarded from before DLA award something about it falling in that assessment period so has to start from then I just reconfirmed the data DLA awarded so it's recorded that I did give correct date to avoid discrepancies
Confirmed amount and asked if I was happy with what's been confirmed then sent the payment x

Scan date 01/11 had a text this morning to say my child qualifies for DLA. Don't know rates yet

@RainsbowandBunnies ah okay amazing, thanks. my assessment period runs 6th-5th, and she got awarded from 6th October. So I think it should be a straight forward backdate. Today's day 2 since the letter, so will see if I hear today 🤞. xx
