I'm in the exact same position. There was no point asking school to help with the form as my son masks at school and all emotions come out as soon as hes out of the classroom door.
I'm worried so much it'll be a decline. We struggle as a family massively

scan date 27/10/24 one text at 15 no letters.
Like everyone else I’ve been following this thread on a daily basis and checking my account.
The wait is so stressful!!!!
I thought I’d give them a call before I officially give up!!!
I’m currently on hold (1hr 5min to be precise) let’s see what they say!!!

@mummyof3girlsx im 17 weeks Wednesday, last week I was told it will be 20 weeks and not to call back 🙄 too scared to bother again 🤞🏻 you get a decent person

Have they been diagnosed with anything?
After a long 6 year fight my son was diagnosed with ODD last year. A hard fight as he masks at school, he's very clever and knows where to and where not to be himself.

I don’t wana ring for them to tell me
its a decline the last few weeks have been longer than pregnancy it’s gota be over soon surely xx

@Anxiouslywaitingmum they are very clever aren’t they! My eldest has been diagnosed with ADHD and has suspected ASD and she still masks at 14. My youngest is waiting assessment which was a battle to get due to her masking but is being assessed for ADHD and ASD. I have another daughter that is diagnosed ADHD that has no ASD traits at all as she does not mask at all now, she is full blown ADHD for everyone!!!

Ok well I got through after an hour and 15 mins.. to a lady who sounded like she wanted to be in bed, she said hasn’t gone to a decision maker yet probably looking at another 6 weeks!!!! I am DEFO 100% sure they just say whatever they want to get you off the phone because I spoke to 3 seperate people last week who was really nice and all told me it would be going to DM by Friday last week.. I give up 🙈 @bonz2023 @STEPH691 @xxAmy

@mummyof3girlsx 6 more weeks no way that’s crazy I think they lie to get you off the phone no one gets a straight answer the system is a mess x

They are very clever and he's been like it since he was 3/4 years old!
My biggest worry is secondary school, he tells us daily to go and die, go kill yourself or that he shouldn't be alive.
I'm praying he gets accepted as the money will go towards private therapy or whatever he needs. Cahms have been next to useless.

@Gemmaoscar completely agree, when I rang last week as I was 16 weeks they had to check another system (apparently) because as soon as they checked the weeks they said bare with me let me check the other system as your 16 weeks… she did none of that, she just said no, not with anyone yet, no updates.. probably another 6 weeks thanks. So rude x

So the wait is over, my son was awarded on 22nd Feb
LRM and MRC for ASD.
Awarded up until September 2029.
Apparently a payment of £1865 will be authorised tomo, fingers crossed o should get this by the end of the week.
My next payment is on 26th March.

PS I’m exactly 18 weeks on Friday.

Hi, was just wondering if anyone knew is DM/CM the same thing?
I called today for an update scanned 1/11 as was told waiting on CM to see it? But said all new claims are taking 18-20 weeks. And I asked if possible if I could be texted if a decision gets made. I hate waiting its just so bloody MEH! Fingers crossed all beginning of November's get sorted this week 🤞🤞🤞 x

@mummyof3girlsx oh that’s a joke can’t believe she said 6 weeks that would make 22 weeks unbelievable how they speak to you. It’s horrible when you get someone who really can’t be bothered. Hopefully she didn’t bother looking and it’s with the DM xx

@mummyof3girlsx it’s ridiculous how long it takes if it’s a decline I’m Gona scream seriously it’s taking so long then u see scan dates after ours being awarded nothing makes sense x

I didn't put my daughters birth certificate and was worried about this but no it's not always needed they never asked for it with me

Scanned 3/11/23 just been told it’ll be around the first week of April and I’m the queue for the DM. I’m fuming.

I'm 06/11 and was told this morning I should be going to DM this week, surely you should be around the same, I'd be fuming if I was told April too thats 22/23 weeks 😱
