Hi - any one having trouble with universal credit back pay - I notified them 2nd February, they requested i filled in a change of payment section on the 8th February - Ive been awarded the higher rate for disability going forward but im still waiting on the back pay back to the 4th October, keep being told its with the decision maker - I was told it shouldn't be more than 2 weeks ? I spoke to Contact (benefits advice charity) and they gave me a letter to send them if they refuse to give the full back pay as by law they should.

have you had a renewal pack? I have been told i should have got one in September if we was only awarded 1 year. But i had had nothing so i dont know if i should just fill a form and send it in

They tend to extend renewal timelines if they’re backlogged, they’ll get in touch when they’re ready for you to renew

Hi can someone tell me what the renewal forms are like and if you send all the evidence that you sent when applied for DLA

2nd November here had a year award now time for renewal my sons 16 in June so I’ll be doing another soon 😑😭

Yes 🙈😫 mines due to run out the 1st Oct, called yesterday and no ones looked yet, she said it could be on the actual day that a decision is made

i phoned yesterday and she said no desicions been made yet x

I am sent it back in June they scanned it July the 1st got to wait till the 13th of October that's the end date called today not with anyone as yet

On the plus they just called me as id missed a question but said they now looking at it x

mines the 5th october so not to much longer x

I called back tonight (impatient i know haha )and they said a decision has been made but they can only see that and that a letter has been sent , so I tryed again she said the same she said its changed and they cant tell people on the phone any more as they cant physically see it only that they have made the decision

ive read people say if you ring back and choose option 4 then they will tell you apparantly x

I saw that on a thread the other day , ill try that in the morning x
