22/9 thought I’d of heard something by now thinking more and more a decline

Scan date 25/9. I called yesterday to ask if there is still time to send final EHCP as I had only sent the first draft and she said there is always time as if they receive evidence after they have assessed they will look at it again. I asked if it had been assessed yet and she said it hadn’t. I am on tender hooks!

Same scan date, same information! I sent off ADHD reports, draft EHCP and dyspraxia diagnosis and was scanned in 25/09. I've then sent off final EHCP, suspension letters from school, scan of blue badge and letter from school stating that he needs to go to a specialist school 20 miles away.

@AndrewGarfieldsLaptop i will wait and see if I hear anything on Monday. If I don’t, I will send off the final plan and copy of the blue badge. I have sent extra evidence twice now and postage is not cheap 😂 I have sent. ASD diagnosis, school advice, EP advice, SALT advice , OT. Was thinking of keeping something back for appeal in case I need it. Good luck to you. Hopefully not long now but I am convinced it’s a decline :-/

Hi everyone , just a quick question - I have sent off letters of support from health visitor , pre school , early help also a diary of sleep pattern , another letter from health visitor explaining the need of support for sleep also letter of wait list for referral to paediatrics.
just wondering can I send off any emails I have exchanged with health visitor and emails I have send to support groups etc regarding my sons needs for suspected autism ? Would this help if I send email evidence in email format ? Or is this sort of information for groups and emails not relevant when applying for DLA ?

How would you know when your dla payment is due after being awarded? I've received my daughters backdate so was wondering the next pay?

@Siobhangrace im the 28th and havnt heard nothing, rang Wednesday and was waiting to be looked at so I'm sire we will hear by end of next week🤞

I'm 29th. I'm not automatically thinking decline, I just think we are only seeing the start of a few dates around the late 20s of Sept. Obviously there are some who are still waiting from earlier dates, too.

I will likely still be checking my bank account on Monday morning, though, and I've jumped a few times when texts have come through.

Do people get declined via text or is it usually a letter?

@funinthesun19 @Bsmumummaj I updated my journal last Friday 19th and they said sent to DM but still not heard anything .. are u meant to chase this up or just sit and wait? X

Scan date 12/10, phone call yesterday but not much information was given just that our claim was ‘favourable’. Was told to expect the letter next week and there’s a pending payment into the bank which looks like MRC back payment.

Relieved that the wait is over, good luck for everyone still waiting and hopefully this shows that DWP are catching up!

"A decision has been made" text has been a decline for all those who have received it on here.

Congrats! Do you mind me asking what area you are from? Probably a long shot but wondering if certain areas are quicker than others maybe?
