I had physio letters but didn't put in school personal plan which I will send I thought they would contact them etc just devastated x

I was actually advised not to send my sons sen plans by a dla adviser that helped with the form. I ignored her and sent the forms in as later evidence and I'm very glad I did now. I know the wait will be abit longer but the sen plans will show them a much clearer picture of your child's needs and you should get awarded

COWPRINTQUEEN · 26/01/2024 20:03

Thank you 😊 they said it'll cost me £50 but I will give it a shot and see what they say and if not request his records, thanks for that advice

I refuse to believe FB. No one one here in all the threads I've watched as ever had a decision months ahead of others.

There’s 23rd and 26th October today on Facebook been awarded and with dm

Hayz0711 · 26/01/2024 20:39

@Bell27x which group? The group I’m in doesn’t allow members to post scan dates x

Edited

Dla support and advice group UK
they do allow scan dates
the other one is ok but it’s the same questions over and over again x

AndrewGarfieldsLaptop · 26/01/2024 21:45

@Bell27x fibbers!

AndrewGarfieldsLaptop · 26/01/2024 21:47

Lottiexx3 · 26/01/2024 19:42

@AndrewGarfieldsLaptop have you not heard yet? We have the same scan date and my backpay went in yesterday so surely you’re due anytime now x

Oh that's fantastic Lottie!!! No not yet, but sent off 3 extra bits of evidence, and I've rang twice to add further bits, so I'm fully expecting a 20 week decision here. I need to ring on Monday as DS is now going to a specialist school which is 20 miles away, rather than the primary school outside our house 😭

Anxiouslywaitingmum · 26/01/2024 23:41

I got a one plan from the school today. Son was diagnosed with ODD last year. He masks massively in school, but it does mention the struggles we have at home.
Is it worth sending the one plan as additional evidence?

Bsmumummaj · 26/01/2024 23:44

How long do uc take to backdate after it's been sent to DM?

Claudb98 · 27/01/2024 10:30

How long do uc take to backdate after it's been sent to DM?

Mine only took a couple of days to be sorted once set to a DM. Then about 3 working days to arrive in my bank.

funinthesun19 · 27/01/2024 12:55

Has anyone ever done a MR for just mobility/just care?

My DD was awarded care on the 5th January but not mobility. I’ve been considering doing a MR to get the mobility she deserves, but will this affect her care award? As in will they potentially take it away from her if the new DM feels she doesn’t qualify for it or it needs lowering? I only have until 2nd February now.

mumtumok · 27/01/2024 12:56

Yes I'd say Wed-Fri. I believe back pay can go in on any day but your monthly payment will be made on either Tuesday or Wednesday.
