New thread following on from part 26

I woke up to backpay of £2197.05 this morning scan date was 25/09. Can someone please help me work rates out so I can inform UC. I’m so happy I could cry, I really thought we would get rejected x

Hi I rang today
scan date is 13/10
sent additional evidence on Tuesday
said my evidence has been scanned already and it’s roughly an 18 week wait should be looking at end of feb

I've just got off the phone with them. I needed to update them regarding an appointment and I sent them some extra evidence. She did tell me that if I've got any extra evidence, to send it in before the end of next week as I won't be able to after that. So I'm hoping it's not much longer.

To add, they can manually update your file with an appointment rather than you sending in the letter. Not sure if you all knew that 😊 scan date 5/10.

I would send it special delivery they get it next day amd it’s signed for take about 7 days for it it be seen if you do photocopy it all amd keep the originals

Thank you for all the replies I do have the address and everything to send it to but I’m waiting for the letters from school I won’t get them until next week that’s why she said to keep hold of it but the day I get the letters if it’s not with DM I will be sending it recorded delivery 🙂

i sent it first class recorded delivery, the wait time is making me so anxious im so worried my son will be declined

Maybe mention to the school once letters are ready you could collect them saves them going in the post for however many more days 😉

Just had a text my child qualifies. I could cry. Will ring tomorrow to find out rates.

my son was 4 on Saturday, he has suspected autism, aniexty an adhd and has been referred and on wait list to pedatric, awaiting assessment date. The pre school, health visitor and my early help worker have all provided evidence to support he’s needs and how he is from day to day also since November I have struggled with he’s sleep so I have additional information an diary entries for that . I’m exhausted an so anxious ! I feel he may be declined but I have done all I can for him!

I cried my eyes out filling in the form , it really came to light how bad things can be day to day . I am just hoping I worded it correctly and expressed enough as I don’t remember comparing he’s needs to a child of he’s age an I also made some mistakes on the original form an crossed things out etc 🫣 I was in such a state

Thank you, that’s what I worked it out to be but wanted someone to check because I couldn’t believe it. I can finally cut my hours down at work in a morning to support my daughter to go to school. But UC wouldn’t accept that until we got DLA x

did you send no additional evidence ?
I am in the same situation as you with my son and same age an worried as hell he is going to get a decline although I have sent evidence I am worried I have not expressed it or worded this fully on the form

I sent a lot of evidence. She has an EHCP, ASD diagnosis letter, CAF and TAF notes, letters from school, CAHMS letters, specialist ASD support worker letters. I still wasn’t expecting to get anything though because she does often appear normal but she really struggles with school x

Anyone know how long UC takes to agree the back payment? I wrote on my journal last week and said we have been awarded and they replied saying a decision maker needs to look at it and I've heard nothing since.

Seeing people so close to my scan date is really making me anxious now! I really hope I hear by end of next week🤞🤞🤞

As anyone been told how long coc is taking I keep getting cut off when calling
