Did anyone get help doing the form from any 3rd party charity’s etc as im preparing myself incase we get declined as i done the form myself.

I had a DWP officer do a home visit to help complete mine. They don't work for DLA, bit are experts at filling in the forms.

Scan date 31/08
Woke up to payment today HRC for my 3.5 year old autistic little girl..no idea how I got this rate as I sent no evidence just wrote she had been diagnosed and all the problems we face on a daily basis we didn't even send a character statement from her nursery. Needless to say I'm so grateful the wait is over and my little girl can now have the help she deserves

Mum2threeplus2bonuskids · 25/01/2024 07:28

Good morning all! I have woken up this morning to a payment from DLA £1720 (if anyone can help out with what rates that looks like I’d be grateful 😘).

scan date (either 13/09 or 15/09)
2 letters end of oct and mid nov
2 texts.

i also sent zero evidence, i just filled it my part and gave permission for them to contact whoever they need. (The form it’s self was sooo overwhelming for me)

my 12yo is diagnosed autistic, we are wait for assessments for dyspraxia.

fingers crossed for all you lovely parents waiting….thank you to this group for keeping me sane!!

My DD is 12 and Autistic and Dyspraxic too.

Hayz0711 · 25/01/2024 08:01

Done COC with scan date 19/10. I’ve heard getting HRM is extremely difficult to get, my son was awarded this between ages 3-6. I feel he should be entitled to both HRC & HRM,he currently gets MRC & LRM. What sort of evidence did those in receipt of HRM send in? Thanks x

I'm now on week 18 and I swear this is the first thing I think about when I wake up, and the last thing I think about before I go to sleep.

Dally23 · 25/01/2024 09:09

Same for me AndrewGarfield 19 weeks tomorrow ! :(

mumto3withasd · 25/01/2024 09:09

I rang at 9am got through straight away my scan date is 28/9 and the lady was lovely told me I’m looking at first week of feb for a decision and to hold onto extra information incase a MR is needed because they won’t get it in time because it goes to Mail opening facility first.

Claudb98 · 25/01/2024 09:16

I'm now on week 18 and I swear this is the first thing I think about when I wake up, and the last thing I think about before I go to sleep.

I'm the same. The anxiety I'm feeling now that a decision is imminent is unreal. I'm gonna try and keep myself as busy as possible for the next few days. Hopefully, we get some news soon.

Tiredmummy1235 · 25/01/2024 09:44

Hi guys new here. Sent my daughters forms off in October. Just called today to see if I should send some more evidence off. The lovely lady said on phone still not had a decision but I would send it off asap. I asked if it’s with a DM she said she doesn’t like to say because people think it will be dealt with that day. What does this mean I wish she would of just yes. It’s so nerve racking.

If you did want to send extra info I sent mine by special delivery on Monday, they received it Tuesday and was scanned onto the system the same day. Xx

pessaryforthepressurey · 25/01/2024 09:57

We returned the forms mid-September, and got a text saying qualifies, but don't know what rate, and no money as yet. But they're clearly up to mid-September.

I sent in a lot of detail, but I don't know how much they look at it, and how much is literally just the boxes you tick on the form.

Thenoseymother · 25/01/2024 10:02

Scan date 21/09 I’m going to give them a call in a sec and see if there’s any update

Bsmumummaj · 25/01/2024 10:04

How long did people wait for a backdate of carers element on uc? Looking at 26 weeks of HRC LMR. I updated uc on Monday :)

lpt33 · 25/01/2024 10:17

This makes me feel a bit better, I didnt send any evidence. except her paper work from being diagnosed as autistic and her referral letter for adhd. I cried for days filling out the form because I found putting it down in writing has shown me how 'different' my 11 yo was to other kids and how much care she requires, which as getting older has seemed to be more and more! so happy you got awarded. scan date 13.10 so looks like another 4 or so weeks for me! I have everything crossed

EEFO1234 · 25/01/2024 10:17

Scan date 28/09 rang this morning and was told i should hear within the next few weeks, currently in a queue to go to case manager that should be within a week and then up to 2 weeks for a decision

Claudb98 · 25/01/2024 10:26

@Jumping85 can I ask what address did you send the evidence to I can’t seem to find it online please thanks

Hayz0711 · 25/01/2024 10:39

Scan date 19/10, so a way off yet. Is it worth gathering more evidence now whilst I wait in case I have to do MR? I know you only get a month to respond & my last letter from DWP arrived 2 weeks after it was dated.

Robyn81 · 25/01/2024 10:46

@Claudb98 been waiting since 20/9 for a coc called today and still in the queue apparently 🙄 😐
