@Liddyj Congratulations!! I'm so pleased the wait is finally over for you. All of these very quick decisions make me hopeful that those of us still waiting will get some news soon.

Liddyj congratulations!🥳 I bet you feel so relieved now it’s over! If you don’t mind me asking how many weeks were you waiting till you got rewarded? X

Mothertothreeboys · 24/01/2024 13:34

Same iav only had 2 letters 🤷‍♀️ hopefully we here soon x

lpt33 · 24/01/2024 13:38

same date as me. I wasn't even bothered about checking at first but now I'm panicking, what if she gets rejected. After a fight for a diagnoses etc. I just don't feel I have enough fight in me for an appeal. Although a Family member advised that its unlikely she will be declined but she's never heard of wait times be as long as they are now.

Liddyj · 24/01/2024 13:39

@FlutterByASD & @Lolly966 thankyou it was awarded yesterday which was exactly 18 weeks from my scan date of 19/9.. Iv been checking my phone all the time hoping for a text even ringing today I thought I bet it’s a decline because Iv not had one the lady on the phone just said a decision was made yesterday a letter has been sent out and I just thought oh my god nooo I said could you tell me what the decision is then she told me I’m so relieved I honestly have done nothing but fight for my child since him being little he’s diagnosed ADHD and he’s extremely difficult just so glad I don’t have to fight for this a real weight lifted off my shoulders x

Lolly966 · 24/01/2024 13:39

Fingers crossed we do! X

Liddyj · 24/01/2024 13:40

This group has been amazing a real little community of us parents fighting for our children I can’t thank you all enough for the support and I hope you all get your decisions very soon x

MummyMas82 · 24/01/2024 13:48

Hi, I was awarded on Monday 🎉 and expecting the back payment. Has anyone had that payment on a day other than Tuesday and Wednesday?
Thanks 😊

Liddyj · 24/01/2024 13:54

@MummyMas82 thankyou and congratulations to you too so glad Iv just rang universal credit to update them it’s too complicated for me online so I’m wondering how long it will take them to back pay there side .. and id think you’d recieve it tomorrow? Isn’t 3-5 days on the Facebook group Iv seen people say they got there first backdated payment on all days not just tuesday and Wednesday I’m thinking mine will be Friday this week x

Livd99 · 24/01/2024 13:57

Just rang scan date 2/10/23 waited a hour to get through but was told not to call back unless it’s been 18 weeks as there is no update but I should receive a letter in 2 weeks

Liddyj · 24/01/2024 13:59

@GoldenTango thankyou hope you get your decision soon x

MummyMas82 · 24/01/2024 13:59

Is this aimed at me

Lolly966 · 24/01/2024 14:25

Kellyfoo12345 I seen that on Facebook yesterday! She only waited 7 weeks n new claim!
wish ours was that quick!

RainbowZebraWarrior · 24/01/2024 14:26

That post is a wind up, surely? The last paragraph asking about it being ok to book a getaway gives it away for me.

Kellyfoo12345 · 24/01/2024 14:39

I can't see someone making it up maybe the pile was knocked over and she / he was placed at top there's been a couple off quick ones awarded and declined

Kellyfoo12345 · 24/01/2024 14:43

The little getaway may be a polite way of asking does it need to be spent on child ie therapy etc... benidorm here she comes lol (jokes obs)

Tanyacx · 24/01/2024 15:04

Random one I'm 18 weeks tomorrow claims with dm but still waiting on decisions what are all you parents planning to spend any backpay on I'm hoping to use it to get a safety sleeper for my boy so I can finally get a night's sleep I am 1 tired momma right now bed time was 4.10am for me last night.
