Continuing on from part 23 as it was getting full

@Calypsomum we haven't got any physio in place yet. My son has barely been able to walk for the past 2 years (even sitting up is a pain and struggle) hes 13! struggling through the NHS system between neurosurgeons and neurologists and scans etc etc.. this is another uphill battle I'm facing and it just doesn't seem to end.

It's all such a battle. It's so shocking how little there is available for our little ones... Even with a diagnosis. We've basically felt like "Here's your diagnosis, now you're on your own".

@Laurahansom28 i’m in England, from south east, sent zero evidence really, just a referral letter for autism and adhd. Oh and contact number for CAMHS. I honestly thought with a scan date of 4/9 that it would be mid Jan before I heard back. Completely unexpected waking up to back pay. Hope you hear soon 🤞🏻

Ahh I'm in the northwest so I wonder if area is making a difference. I'm the same as you though. Very little evidence apart from school SENCO and asd and adhd referrals. Here's hoping I hear soon ish! Congratulations on your decision. Have a lovely Christmas x

Scan date 15/8. Just had the text to say he’s been awarded. Just for info we didn’t send a personal statement in. I wasn’t happy to ask anyone.
Evidence was minimal - Autism diagnosis, ophthalmology letters, physio and Ed psych report. We’ve got a private OT assessment booked next week. Husband is working all over Xmas full days so he’s cancelled his overtime shifts in January he was having to do to pay for the OT assessment. Hopefully any backpay will pay for this. Text has come literally in the Nick of time.

I'm not sure as I'm south east too and still hadn't even gone to a CM.

Im 18/8 and also south east was told on Mon it's with cm and to expect a text any time now but I've had nothing. Not sure how long I leave it before I call again

Woman kept saying 20weeks to me but we all know that it could be shorter or a lot longer waiting. Merry Christmas everyone

I've just got off the phone to DLA and my daughter was awarded HRC LRM yesterday. My scan date was 14th August. I never recieved any texts to say they were still looking at my claim nor did I recieve a text to say a decision was made. Back pay won't reach my account now till after Xmas but that's okay I'm just glad she was awarded. We are Cambridgeshire area if this helps anyone.

Anyone else with scan date around 17/08 still waiting getting fed up with the wait now

@Mumof6boys1girl im 21/08 and it's such a pain when there's no rhyme or reason to the order. Seen people with beginning of August just having a decision and people in September getting a decision 🙄

@2010crazyboymum I've given up ringing 😂 I probably won't receive a text as I never did last time. I range yesterday and it was still in the holding queue.

@RaychieBee well I got through to a guy who was actually helpful ! This is his "version" shall I say as they're all different.
Currently it's 17/18 weeks.. I'm not yet on a CMs desk but at the top of the pile to go on a desk ... his version went from "I don't want to to give you false hope so latest is mid Jan..to.. it should be any day"

They're off xmas/boxing/day after then back working. Only off ny day.

Take from that what you will. I know its moving up the ladder that's what I can gather. Did take 1hour 20 to get through.

Scan date 17/08 just been awarded today, I’ve put in my journal for universal credit to ask for the child disability element to be backdated. They have replied asking me to attend an appointment to verify who lives with you. Has anyone else had this? It seems a bit strange to me.
