Continuing on from part 23 as it was getting full

How long did everyone wait for a decision once it went to a decision maker

Ah, I see. I only got my 1st text on 5 Dec so wasn't expecting another quite yet. Especially not with Christmas hols in the way. To be honest, I'm also waiting on news of my own PIP claim, so I think I need to just settle my mind till after New Year.

I do hope we all hear something soon though - be it texts or decisions.

@Looloo12332 I know I said that to my partner and the woman told me they close tomorrow so god knows how long I’d be waiting🙄 luckily I can still afford what I need until the 28th but it’s still a pain xx

Does anyone know when you get the first payment after the back pay? Is it 4 weeks from the date it goes in your bank or when they issue the payment x

I’m scan date 21/09 I haven’t had a second text either. Very strange.

@mumtumok I'm 28/09 2 texts as well. Rang once past week and been told decision will be made by February. I'm so worried I can't handle this anymore

My scan date is 25/9. I’ve had two letters and one text on 29/11

I'm dead on 18 weeks today I think, does anyone know dates they are closed over Christmas? 17.08 was our scan date and thought I'd of heard before the new year😩🤦🏻‍♀️
Also haven't had a 3rd text like some people have, so made me think more I'd get a decision soon..

to the lady who was waiting for a decision on renewal like me , i just wanted to update my sons wasn't due to run out for another 4 weeks but just received a letter to say he has been awarded MRC witch he is on already but also LRM witch im also happy about untill 2026. Fingers crossed for everyone waiting 🤞

Finally gave in and rang. 23/08.

No decision yet. She said it’s taking 21 weeks. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Thought I’d sit on hold for a bit- forms received 29/8 and had all three texts, last being 11/12. The lady was lovely but said my forms were in a holding queue and not with a DM. I said I’ll call back after week 20, currently 17+2, she said try week 22. I informed her my letter stated 15 weeks and aware of the backlog but not prepared to wait that long and would be making a complaint if it goes beyond week 20. My child is under Camhs and attends therapy at least twice a week, won’t use public transport due to severe anxiety and PTSD, I also don’t drive so you can imagine the travel costs. I’m going to forget about it until after new year and hope for a positive outcome, merry Christmas and good luck to everyone x

I'm 21/08 and Been told I'm 17 weeks?

Either way the wait is blooming long.

Just recieved the text to say my boy qualifies!! Relieved is an understatement don't know rates will call tomorrow but just happy he's getting what he deserves! Scan date 16/8 18 weeks 1 day good luck to all still waiting
