@ASDMummy22 hi, I was awarded last Thursday and I received back pay today if that helps. Congrats.

Thanks very much I’m guessing it’s maybe a 3-5 working day thing or just random as some people receive pay before the text.
does anyone know about UC backdating carers element and the child element and if it’s another wait for a decision for that? And do they back pay what they have taken from you for the benefit cap I am wondering?

@mammaov3 im on hold for the 3rd time today after being cut off several times before this then 3 times 40+ mins🫥 will let you know if im lucky enough to get a answer

got through after 1.5 hours and my daughter was awarded on the 2nd dec. So relieved it’s unreal

Finally been answered renewal claims are all delt with a week before they run out and if for what ever reason if this is delayed you will still be paid until that decision is made and youve got until that week before to send the extra evidence hope this helps 🥰 and good luck to all

Scan date 1/8.
Ive just been on hold for two hours…still with a decision maker and has been since 30th November so 6 days now. The lady said there should be a decision any day and put a note on to text me.

I'm getting really worried now as I still haven't had any news 😫. Scan date is 21/07. I'm convinced it's a decline as I've not heard. Think my son is the only one left with this scan date. Rang up on Monday and was told still with CM. They said I would get a text but no news. I've not been able to ring today so getting really stressed 😕 x

just wondering the carer element can also be bacdated ? is worth claiming for it? anyoneone knows? UC cancel my next appointement straight away that was fast😃

My son’s renewal date was 4 weeks ago and I’ve heard nothing. On hold now, and it definitely hasn’t been paid. I’m mighty stressed right now

And line closed, on hood for 2 and a half hours. With no answer. I hate dealing with anything to do with my son’s special needs, it all take so long. I spend hours on the phone. And I don’t have that time, single parent with two autistic sons. Why do people think we have time for this 😫😭

@Ivakhunt i know your pain hun , I also have 2 autistic boys- one on the more serve side. I always go to call but then I’m needed for something else - I just haven’t got that time to sit on hold. Hope you get it sorted as soon as!x

scan date 1/8 was tempted to ring last week but said to wait 20 weeks before calling currently week 18! Hoping to hear soon so worried the longer they are taking less likely to be accepted 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Did you call? I’m too worried as the automated thing says to wait 20 weeks before calling
