Following on from part 22 as it is about to become full! 😊

morning all son got awarded finaly MRC i expected that so am happy with it, gosh what a nightmare now have to wait for the letter and see for how long , do not want to renew in a year time to be honest. thanks so much for this group livesaver.
scan date 25th july

scan date 14/8, 2 letters and 2 texts last one was 7/11. hoping it's the next couple of weeks we get a decision 🤞🏼

The holding music is driving me insane 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 50 mins so far.

I put it to the back of mind but the last few weeks it's been horrible. I've seen people say 17 week wait, then others at 20. I just want to know now 😪 I've seen someone commented it was end of July awards last week, this week is first week in August so hopefully next week we'll get a look in 😩

@logangracie93 I’m on one of the groups on Facebook and I’ve just seen that somebody whose scan date is the 9/8 rang and was told it’d be mid Jan! Yet I’ve seen a couple of early August dates be awarded so that doesn’t make sense. I think they just say what they want on the phone sometimes🤣

Just got through at 1hr 15 min wait. The chap said it is still in a queue and isn't with a DM yet and it could take another 4 weeks? But my scan date is 31/7? I've seen awards going through for the end of July happening now? This is ridiculous!

@Emsale83 I'm definitely wasting my time being on hold then 🤦🏼‍♀️ scan date 3/8. Absolute joke!

I honestly think it's pot luck who's desk it drops on. Everyone seems to be getting told different lengths of time, which is honestly why I've not rang. I cant pin my hopes on one person saying x amount of time and it not happening. its a terrible system really 😩

@roki congrats Hun! I've been keeping an eye on to see if you get awarded.

1hr 20m I'll never get back 🙃 nice gentleman but said new claims are currently taking 21 weeks 😤 and that I probably won't get a decision until the near year!!

@Kelseeyx OMG! How has it gone up again!!!! They can't keep moving the goalposts. I was initially told 30th November, then 18th December and now if I call I guess they are going to tell me the new year too. They must know how many they have in the backlog so to add a further 7 weeks on it madness.

Scan date 1/8 . Phone up last week Friday and the man I spoke to said it should be going to a dm this week or beginning of next week and should have a descion by the 19th December,am don't going to call till next week or if get a text even know has seen some with the same scan date been accepted and got a descion unless I see more as I know there still some july dates waiting and it only 18 weeks to the date and 5 weeks since the second text today to . I did call today and spoke to a lady with a bad attitude and said wait time 20 weeks and don't call back till the 20 weeks as past

Iv just commented on old post but seen there is this new one just wondering if anyone knows when renewals are made please as my sons claim ends begining of january and we have just recieved extra evidence and a new diagnosis and was wondering if its worth sending this extra evidence or if its too late

@Ames52 I know can't believe it! He said 21 weeks as of yesterday 🤦🏼‍♀️ when I last called I was told I'd have a decision by the 22nd of December! Really hoping they've just added time on to stop people calling and that they'll get through them quicker.

1/8 told it was going to a dm at 18 weeks which is today may try and call Friday but not feeling hopeful with all these saying 20+ weeks! So anxious now constantly scrolling fb groups and here 😩

I also got told 21 Weeks yesterday when i called to change bank dets, but the chap seemed a bit off, hence the call this morning.

I had an extra payment from DLA. The letter had no explanation other than what we owe you from 1/11/23 - 28/11/23 including the £10 Christmas bonus.
With a lot of fighting my child got the decision overturned in September and entitled to the low rate.

But I have checked everything/ dates / payments etc and haven't even sent in my coc and further evidence yet.

I have tried and tried to get through but with no joy. Hence asking on here. I mean I'm not complaining but I also can't aford for them to be making mistakes and requesting money back. So I'm a bit worried.

Just wondering if it is some other payment I don't know about or if anyone else has had the same.... I will try calling again obviously but just curious. Thanks in advanced.
