Following on from part 22 as it is about to become full! 😊

Hi all, new to all this so reading through everyone's posts I'm getting the impression some are awarded and some take a little longer. Is anyone else's scan date 7/8? I rang 2 weeks ago and was told I am looking at next week before it is even looked at but looking at some of the posts some have been awarded days before my scan date and some after. Is it just who the DM is and when they get through a pile that they get? Any information is helpful. Thanks

It's a case manager.. it's either the DM is a trainee and their work gets checked... DM wanted something double looked at... or the CM is actually just helping the dms out, which they seem to be atm. Gets through them faster with more on them

I can't take the anxiety of waiting! Everytime I phone I get cut off so can't even ask them if it's with a DM yet.
Hopefully it will be soon, has anyone else got same dates? Tyvm

We're also waiting. Scan date 24/08. Had 2 texts 1st - 31st October 2nd - 21st November.

Information for anyone with regards to updating UC
I notified them today (change of circumstances) that my son had been awarded HRC asked for back dated payment. Just received a letter in my journal saying that the DM has accepted my reasons for it being outside period due to special circumstances.

So scan date September beginning rang up not Evan looked at and told 21 weeks so end January donforget they shut for Xmas new Yr so be lucky if middle of feb oh boy so long are wait times

@Mum23xxx my scan date is the 14th too, I rang last week and was told to expect a decision between Christmas and New Year as they were open for the days in between 27th/28th/29th/30th. I'm fairly sure the call handlers don't have a clue either because everyone seems to be being told something different 🤯 the waiting is so stressful 🥴

@Jneill2021 hey I sent in some more information one letter from OT and one from my child’s social worker from the children’s with disabilities team and a few lines saying I believe my son meets the criteria of HRM due to the fact that he ticks all the boxes on the SMI flow chart. Not heard anything yet. I sent it by recorded delivery on the 7th dec. I’ve not rang to see if they have got it. I only sent im 2 reports though I feel like I’ve nit sent enough now 😵‍💫 when did you send in your extra evidence xx

hi i have the same scan date 25/8 i called last week and was told there just coming into augusts ones now . looks like after xmas ill get a desission

@Luevzamum they scanned mine on the 7th, I rang today to make sure all recieved thankfully has been as was like 70 pages of stuff just crossing my fingers now , hope your little one gets the hrm xx

Our scan date was 21/07 and finally got awarded on Monday this week.
When i called, the person was surprised I had not heard anything and said the CM has closed the case but not documented their decision. They emailed the CM and I had a text a few hours later saying my son had been awarded. I would definitely chase them up if you've not heard by Friday.

@Jneill2021 @Keddie @Luevzamum @Anonymousks1984 I am also waiting MR completed on the telephone 23/11 sent in extra evidence that was scanned 01/12. Called last week and was told I would hopefully hear by 23/12. Good luck to you all. I’m expecting a decline even though I’ve proved all points for SMI

My daughter's claim now with cm so not sure how long this will take to hear anything sick of the wait 😑

@Mammalee5 Hi, check your payments to see if they have altered them.
when I done my journey entry i put it down as a payment and not work coach (not sure if that makes a difference) hopefully they will sort it soon xx
