And what does the dm do on uc?

@Louboo09 I reported to UC on 23rd November I called today and still no decision made on the backpay loads of people saying it’s taking ages

@Ilovemychildren123 why does it take so long? Is it just the fact they have to work out how much they owe you? Or do they contact Dla to make sure the claim is correct?x

@Louboo09 they verify through DWP system so that’s the way part and should be added to your next statement but the backdate has to be looked at as to why it’s taken so long to report and how much they owe etc it’s so rubbish x

@Ilovemychildren123 ffs they must understand why it takes so long, they must see this everyday that we all wait 19 weeks to get a decision from Dla, what a ball ache eh x

Hi all, silly question but do they give scan dates for the weekends? Just wondered as they’re on 2/3 of august didn’t know if they would go to 4th then 7th? And skip 5th and 6th? X

@Lauren2121 Thats a good point, I hope so as that would knock 4 days off my scan date🤣

How long do they stop for at Christmas?

sons renewal due December 28th. just got the letter today confirming he stays on HRC and LRM for another 2 years such a relief

not sure if I’m on the right post but I put in for a COC for my daughters dla scan date 18/10/23

is it true coc are taking up to 6 months and I also sent extra evidence to the free post address if I ring them up will they be able to tell me it it was recieved or not? Thanks

@Claudb98 change of circumstances are taking about 23 weeks. We submitted ours 15th June and received decision on 20th November. I would send extra evidence to the following address by recorded delivery:

I updated UC on 29th November and they still haven’t even acknowledged the change nor replied to my message on my journal asking for the change to be considered under special circumstances. 😔

@NeuroDmummy Same here, did mine Thursday 30th when I got back pay and it's not even been acknowledged.

@MangoPepsiLover its mental how inconsistent the whole process is. Just adds to everyone’s frustration x

Mine is 15th august they said phone on the 19th dec

Currently on week 17 waiting for a decision for my LB. It's so frustrating and I refuse to call them anymore because I am literally hours on hold waiting. We've already been through enough in and out of hospital and follow up appointments etc! Anybody know if they'll backdate the whole lot from the day I sent the paperwork in? Thanks, a stressed mama x
