@Lauren2121 thank you! Yeah if I don’t hear by Friday I’ll call but really hoping I hear this week! Even if it’s a decline I just want to know now but same for you 🤞🏻

@Laurenadele12 I’ve just seen on the Facebook group someone sent there forms off 8th august and just got awarded today, so fingers crossed you hear this week x

@Persistent why don’t you just give them a call to find out if they’ve received it if they have you don’t need to redo it coz I no how stressful it was filling mine in ,, also you don’t want to resend if theyve receive it cos they could possibly just disregard the 1st form and you could potentially be waiting longer going off when they receive your 2nd one x

@Emma2345 i called a few days after I posted it and they said it can take up to 5 weeks to be scanned and was shocked on the timescale. I didn’t want to call and bother them again but I will do tomorrow. Thank you x

Scan date 28/8 still watching closely and it seems like there getting just 1 days worth of forms done a day so thinking mine is after Christmas and new year now:/ now don't get me wrong on a normal I am happy to wait but this wait just seems far to back logged nearly a 5 month back log is just not acceptable its just a struggling with pediatrician appointments, physiologist and a diagnosis my little madam is up to 5 years of undiagnosis due to horrendous waiting times for appointments, let alone this wait as well

Then what on earth is the group for! 🤣🤣🤣

I had nothing all weekend…. Getting so deflated…. Feel like theres no way it will be a positive outcome. Scan date 26/07 and still nothing 😔

@MilaMom am 21/7 spoke to them Friday she said it still witb a DM am really worried xx

@LollyRiv i don’t even know what’s going on it’s right passed our scan dates. Nothing is ever easy for me it’s one thing after another everyday. I’ve had enough it’s seems like July is nearly done. U will probably hear and get awarded tomorrow I’ll still be here waiting. Everyone that has our dates have been awarded. 😞

@Mumofepilepsy try not to loose hope lovely. Its so hard waiting. I bet both of ours are with the same CM/DM and they have been dealing with a complex case.... probably my boys 😕. I don't have high hopes but will go for MR if its a decline as I truly believe he should get it. It will improve his quality of life so much as i will be able to pay for extra support like 1-1 swimming lessons to try and strengthen his muscles and reduce his pain. It's hard but try to keep your chin up lovely ❤️. We've got this 💪 x

my scan date is 25/7 and still waiting I rang up Tuesday and they said it’s with a case manager if I don’t hear anything I’m going to ring again tomorrow or Tuesday, just really worried to re ring as when I rang the woman got annoyed as she said it can take up to 20 weeks 🙈

@Chloe96oxo as far as I'm concerned, they can change the voice note to 20 weeks and try to tell people off for calling, still going to call! They can still speak to people with respect, the gov dla site still states 3 months, letters said 15 weeks, gov said they were working to bring waiting times down. They are getting the calls because they have failed to stay within the agreed times. They have failed to keep parents fully updated. And if I get a horrible person, i will very clearly tell them that they have no idea of my medical history of anxiety and depression, do they believe it is appropriate to speak that way to a mother of 4 children with disabilities and my own medical conditions. They have no idea at the effects of their attitude has mentally, do they not have sensitivety training? Would the media and public be proud of how they are speaking to vulnerable parents. I will make sure they bloody think twice before being rude to a customer of theirs again. Doing absolutely nothing wrong calling and checking on progress

@Mammalee5 Exactly that I said to the lady on the phone that the letter states 15 weeks and I thought the 20 week guide was for new applicants, it’s so wrong! I can’t believe the wait times, I’m worried it’s a decline so I need the chance and time to do a MR and for all I know they are sitting on the decision without being informed 😭 I feel like I’m loosing my mind I’m always reading on here and fb constantly checking my texts, bank etc 😞 driving me insane now! I guess it’s all pop luck I’ve seen people with the same scan date get rewarded ages ago I just don’t get it! Xx

@LollyRiv thank u that has made me feel better. I said to the lady on Friday. It’s probably my form it’s been so hard to explain how my daughters life is. She has 4 different types of seizures. Drug resistant works for a small amount of time then back with a bang !!!! Then she has status epilepticus which is extremely dangerous can cause brain damage sadly can be fatal. I have near enough no sleep I can’t leave her with anyone that isn’t trained to administer the emergency medication. Plus my family are to scared to look after her. On top of that my 2 uncles been diagnosed with Huntington’s disease just waiting to see if my dad has it he has most of the symptoms. I just feel like someone give me a break pls. Then too see all my dates go and just me is left it’s like ok !!! Here we go again. 😞hopefully we will have some good news tomorrow cxxx

@Babzie keep faith I am same scan date as you 28/7 and I got a text this morning (Sunday) to say my daughter qualifies, so fingers crossed not too long to wait now

I am 28/8 lovely 🙈 so I got a whole 4 weeks plus to wait by the sounds of it if I am lucky :/ x

@Lauren2121 thank you so much, the wait is so bad isn’t it, I think last text was around 16/10, I get DLA for my 12 year old ASD, this claim is for my 5 year old selective mutism and on the pathway for asd, good luck I really hope you hear soon lovely xx

i have no idea tbh. i posted asking if anyone heard from august post declined with feedback scan dates arent allowed and they turn comments off on awarded posts so no one asks the scan date 🙄 absolutely ridiculous if you ask me xxx
