@NeuroDmummy Thank you, I am honestly so relieved! No I haven’t figured it out at all - I don’t know whether to leave it until I know what rate I’ve received? Any help would be great, thank you so much x

@TheRBC you can’t do anything until you know the rates. When you do go on the children who live with you and make a change. Choose the child’s name then follow the steps. You will get a summary of the current info held then I think it says change or edit. It will ask if the child gets DLA care component and at what rate. Go right to the end and submit the change. X

Is the first letter everyone else recieved from UC the same as this. I'm panicking now thinking I won't get backdate. I'm probably overthinking it but the waiting making me question myself x

Yea that’s the letter you get first saying they have approved it so now you need your case worker to go through all statements and then you will receive another letter with amount @Raych1989 its usually payment 2 days after that.

I had a call from carers allowance today as I am doing a short online course on ASD. They said they are sending a form and I have to get a tutor to fill it in to confirm the learning hours even though it’s like 2 a week 😂 and I have no contact with them other than an online portfolio! Seems like a ball ache and more waiting around x

Just regarding UC. If my DD doesn’t receive the child element of UC due to the child limit, would she still qualify for the disabled child element (If she is awarded DLA)?

@Mummyrach13 Thank u. Do u know how long it was between getting that letter and the next letter of payment owed etc. Its been 4 weeks tomorrow since I updated so I'm feeling so frustrated.

That's crazy from carers allowance. Especially if it's an online course. I think they find things to make us fill in or update just to stress us out with waiting times 🤣

Mine was done the same day @Raych1989 but my case worker is usually really good at replying quickly! Hopefully yours will sort it asap!

i know I put the college down where I’m-doing the online course as it asked for the details and he said we can’t call and ask them to confirm 🙄 x

What dates are we sitting on now ladies, am trying to keep a tab, have we hit August yet 🙈 am losing my marbles the wait is hideous I am August 28th even tho I sent it middle of July no idea why it took nearly 4 weeks for them to recieve it x

@Raych1989 my case working asked me to let them know as soon as I’ve had a decision from the DM on back payment, i received that letter today so we will see what happens tomorrow

I have to call today to see if they have my evidence I'm 14/08 so wiol let everyone know wjat they say after I call.Goodluck everyone today

Been watching and reading on here for a while now to keep me sane, just woken up to a payment had no text to say been awarded. Think MRC & LRM, going to call today to confirm. I’m so happy for my little boy as I’d convinced myself it was a decline.

The time frame is 18 weeks from scan date to land with a DM. Decision can be made anywhere upto 10 days after that. It all depends and varies. Decision usually 5 weeks from last text but again this varies.

New claim for my 2 year old son scan date 1st September had 2 texts looking like January for me

@roki I'm going to call dead on 9. He told me to call back Friday if I haven't heard anything so I'm definitely going to. I need to know now. It's driving me crazy. Let me know if you happen to ring and what they say. I hope it's good news.
