No, it's your bank details they use for payments, not your card details so you're OK. Saves a phone call thankfully.

@Rebeccanew just had an update on us saying its been decided that special circumstances apply the usual from the dm! They gave mine to a dm on the 15th just so you know for time frame xxx

Every day goes by the dates are going past me. It’s just my luck 😞anyone else waiting 21/7 x

Anyone know how long MR are taking please? I sent more evidence last week and had a text from them today from them. Just calling them now to make sure they received the evidence. Xox

I have never received a text before.
Scan date 14/7 so 20w6d waiting🥹

So thankful my baby can have a beautiful Christmas and life moving forward with the extra support in place.

Will wait next week for the money.

How long have yous all waited once it’s went to decision maker with UC to say how much owed etc xxxx

@Tmxx aww happy for you! I know you’ll get another letter in few days stating how much etc I think mine was the 17th so hopefully not much longer xxxxxx

Can anyone offer me guidance or information on what I have to do in regards to UC? I received the award text from DLA today but I haven’t managed to find out the rates? Do I wait to update UC when I have the rates or do I update it now? Also, how do I go about doing this? Thanks in advance x

@Mojo161989 hi I have been waiting 5 weeks to hear back from a MR not sure if I done it properly as I literally just wrote a letter and sent it to the address they told me to. Feel like I’m at a standstill

Uc are an absolute joke! Alls I've had is a message saying it's been verified and passed to a decision maker. OK its only been a week but if they wanted me to do something I'd do it straight away! They don't even give you a time frame as if we haven't waited long enough!

Yeah in plenty of time. I'm going to call them in the morni g to find out. When I called they said letter had been scanned 26th June. X

I've not even had messages to say they've seen my message about it @Hardingcl I sent it on Wednesday when I got off the phone to DLA, I still have a commitments meeting for 4 weeks time (I have to go 2-3 times a year because I'm not working enough hours to be totally commitment free), if they haven't seen it by lunchtime tomorrow I'll try again.

@MangoPepsiLover @Rebeccanew I called last Friday after I put it on on the Wednesday. The women messaged the case worker and he said its been verified and passed to a decision maker but we don't have a time frame. That's a week tomorrow, I know I may be being impatient but I waited 18weeks for the dla. I natively thought uc were quite quick! 😳 I've asked for an advance until they sort it. Not that I need it I was just thinking it may hurry them along

Does anybody know if universal credit know that you’ve applied for DLA? I’ve just received a message off UC to say I have 1 thing to do on my to do list. Logged in and it says I have to declare a health change and report if I start caring for someone

Honestly I don’t understand how or why it takes so long for uc to verify it, I put it on journal last Friday after ringing dla to only have 1 message saying it’s been sent to Dm but no time frame, same as carers allowance expect me to wait 6 weeks so that’s gonna be around 25 weeks wait time all together 🫣

i received a letter through my UC journal today saying the DM has agreed to backdate my child and disability element and my carers allowance claim and it will be shown in my UC entitlement, does that mean that I won’t receive back payment from UC cus I’ve got back payment from carers allowance?

@MammyAng84 my carers allowance took one week in total, back pay and a weeks carers allowance went in Tuesdays and I applied the Tuesday before

Hopefully that’s the case for me as I want to use that money to buy the smalls extra stuff for Xmas

@NeuroDmummy I never had a chance to ring, so I'm going to call first thing in the morning. I'm dreading ringing if I'm honest. But I just want to know now. Although I know it may still be with DM. I'm hoping for some answers tomorrow though.
