I read on here to turn off your caller ID and you don’t get cut off after the options. Worked for me.. cut off twice, turned it off and I got through!

Hi called today got told its 20 weeks wait time my scan date is September 21 st

I’m the 28 September. I’m such an anxious person. The wait is insane

@Hollywollyxxx That keeps happening, I think it’s when there are a high number of calls. It took me 12 attempts and over 2 hours on hold to get any information today x

Thanks for the advice. Hard for me to call as I’m working just Eager for an answer!!

@TheRBC Mine was with DM exactly a week so hopefully this time next week you've got your award

@MangoPepsiLover I think I feel worse knowing it’s with the DM, does that make sense? Also, some claims seem to go to the DM and a decision is made the next day so I’m even more apprehensive that it’s been with them 2 days and no decision. I did send in a ridiculous amount of paperwork to be honest so it’s probably that but still… my nerves are palpable x

@TheRBC I'm wondering now if ours was the complex case that was mentioned holding up the DM further up this thread as I sent a sh*t tonne of evidence and over 7 pages of answers. If so then it shouldn't be long as we're out of the way.

I didn't get a text so I'd call again in a week if heard nothing.

Our scan date is 14/7

Called yesterday to be told its not with a DM yet.
Was told we will hear by the 8th of December taking us to 21 weeks🥹

@MangoPepsiLover you might well be right! I also sent in 7 pages of evidence and 11 extra pages of answers… I just hope it’s not too much longer, I hate the not knowing.

The woman on the phone to me did say to call back in a week if I hadn’t heard anything. She did also say that she would put a note on to send a text but also said that not everyone receives one even after asking for one x

@TheRBC I'm also 25/7 and I phoned yesterday to be told it's with DM. He never told me how long it's been there but I'm assuming it went there Sunday as I've seen a few went over the weekend..so I'm also the same as you. I sent a few bits of evidence and his diagnosis is really long to read through.

Is anyone still waiting to hear with a scan date of 21/07?
I was told on Monday that it was with DM and that I would get a text so I've been holing off calling but the longer I wait, the more anxious I get 🙈 x

@crazytimes20 I had a really nice lady to be fair, I’ve not come across a mean one yet. I only know it went with the DM on Monday because I asked her. Simply because I have seen other people on here be told it went to the DM and then receive the text 2 days later, and just kinda wanted to try and guesstimate when the decision would be made. My son is also pretty complex and a lot to read through on paper so I tried to include as much as I could. Now I’m wondering if maybe I sent too much and it’s overwhelming x

@JJO15 we’re also 1/8 and I called yesterday to be told not with a DM yet should be going to one next week so I’ll call again next Friday if I haven’t heard anything by then x

@LollyRiv am 21/7 went to DM wed still with DM few of the ladies that are before and same date as us were awarded today. Just hoping by Friday xx

I should have asked the man on the phone how long it had been with DM. I was just in shock they were both awarded as I was ready for at least 1 decline. I am the same scan date as you guys @crazytimes20 x

Hi there,
I've never used these before so please bare with me.
Basically we have a scan date of 3/8 and tbh the wait is driving me nuts.
Anyway, I’m worried about evidence because all we sent was the paediatrician report and diagnosis of GDD and had the nursery fill out the section in regards to that and the HV fill out the section about someone who knows of his needs.
We received an Ed Psych report today and the information is quite outdated and he has regressed in areas since then. I’m in two minds about adding this, on one hand it does outline some of his needs and on the other it’s not up to date and I’m concerned how close it may be to going to DM.
Also he’s two nearly 3 and I’ve seen that is can be a factor to being declined?
