Option 3 is not connecting at all....
Tried 4 times and nothing.

I’ve caved I’m also on hold 🤞🤞🤞

What options are you pressing?
I got disconnected immediately 5 times now....

Hello. I’ve been following everybody’s stories and it really helps to know that I’m not alone in this journey. You are all amazing fighting for what your babies are entitled to.

Our scan date is 30/08, so still quite a way to go. I called up for the forms on the 12/07 and they were due back by the 23/08. I’d tried to call a few times during the 6 weeks holidays to ask about an extension as school were going to provide some information but didn’t manage to get through (I didn’t realise this wasn’t a possibility as hadn’t managed to speak to anybody). I sent the forms in good faith on the 18th in the hope they would arrive in time but they took nearly two weeks to arrive which doesn’t seem right. I’d noted on the form that I had tried to get through to speak to somebody several times with no joy. I’ve since spoken to somebody and explained the situation and they’ve made a note on my application but it will be up to the DM to decide if they honour the back pay to when I called on the 12th July or 30th august when the forms were received. Has anybody any experience if this. Do you know if they would take into consideration that it was the school holidays and I hadn’t been able to speak to anybody?

My little girl has epilepsy and has daily absence seizures, drops and tonic clonic seizures. She requires 24hr supervision (even a camera at night time). I’ve provided the letter from the consultant confirming diagnosis, consultation notes from her paediatric consultant, paediatric neurologist, epilepsy nurse, prescription slip and letter from school. An EHCP application has also been submitted by school on medical grounds. It’s really hard to know what they will/won’t approve. Do you think this is enough information for an approval?

Has anyone applied for carers allowance recently (not uc), if so how long was the wait for it to be processed? Thanks

@MilaMom I had this same problem last week - options are 6, 3, 1. What I did, was go on my phone settings and withhold my number and I then got through. Try that and see if you have any luck x

@crazytimes20 hope u get through, keep us posted am seeing alot of 25th being rewarded so hopefully we get an answer by the end of the week.

Just saw on FB somebody with scan date 10/8 got an award text gives me hope my scan date is 17/8

@Mumma3girls I applied for carers allowance and got it in 1 week...but I don't work and single so they didn't have much to verify.....hope that helps

I pressed 1 6 3 4. I got cut off once but got through on the 2nd attempt. Worrying they cut me off after being on hold for 1hr 40 or something 😂Also scared they will tell me off for ringing before the 20 weeks 🫣

I didn't have any options after 3.
So I pressed 1, 6 and 3.
Hope they don't disconnect us.

Scan date 27/7

Currently on hold now wanting an update been on call over a hour this music is driving me mad lol.

@Mammyzzzzz I'll wait with you, I'm on hold. I know when i get through they'll tell me its a decline but I need to hear it from them

I know that's what I'm thinking too keep seeing lots of dates after mine.hope they hurry up I after leave for work in half hour.

I am on hold, I have a meeting at 12:10 though...
Hopefully they will pick up my call before then.

Just got through after an hour and 40 mins. Mine is still with DM. He said could be upto a week and to ring back if don't hear anything by Friday. He said might not get a txt msg...which I knew anyways. Fingers crossed it's soon. Scan date 25/7
