@NatalieAnn92x yhhh he said it’s with decision maker and should be this week if your awarded you should get text if declined expect a letter 🤷‍♀️ it’s making me ill over 18 weeks now

@Kelz23 they also said that to me yesterday! “It’s been there since Thursday but could be that you don’t hear until the end of the week”. I think seeing everyone awarded with our date already just makes me overthink that it’s a decline 🤦‍♀️. Awrh honey I don’t blame you! It’s horrible waiting!!

Rang this morning finally with a cm went yesterday just incase anyone with same scan date.

Currently on hold, so nervous!! Will only be my 2nd time calling... already been cut off 3 times so far 🙈

does anybody know how this process now works with UC I’ve told them of my child’s award and got a message saying they need to verify my children 🙄 surely they’ve been verified I’ve been on uc since March this year!

does anybody know how this process works? Am I likely to get back pay soon or is this going to be another drawn out process?

Just to let people know don’t hold your breath for a text they hardly send them! I asked for a text and it never came I had to keep calling

Hi everyone 😊 I was just wondering does any one know how long it takes for uc to pay backdated I’ve been putting messages on journal and no one getting back to me it’s been bout 5 weeks now xxx

Hi all, hope you can help / offer some advice.

I had a long battle with DLA. Waited 17 weeks earlier this year and the decision was declined. Then did a mandatory reconsideration and sent in further evidence and diagnoses and was then awarded low rate. I was so happy after the battle and waiting I did not think much of it.

DLA said they couldn't award any more as don't yet have the ASD diagnoses (although has all the symptoms and is on the SENDco system as needs a lot of extra help).

My child has another medical condition which is what the above was awarded on, this is what has worsend and now needs my full time care.

Anyway due to condition got worse and needing to care for my child full time, the nurse told me this was not right and I should at least be entitiled to care allowance (as I am struggling as can't work full time) and not entitled to UC or anything due to family situation. But of course you don't get child care allowance unless you get mimimum of middle rate care of DLA.

So my question is... Do I phone or write to DLA with extra evidence I have, or do I have to go through it all over again and do a COC ?

Hey hun it would be coc and they would then go threw it again and it can go either way they could also take away lrc depending on what they think will be needed xx

Just called and spoke to a lovely man!
He said I'm looking at another 4-6 weeks, my scan date is 3/8.

Tried calling them 3 times so far , can't even get into the holding que 🤦🏻‍♀️ goes through all the options and then just starts beeping loudly at me and cuts me off 🤣 so frustrating. Scan date 6/7 good luck to everyone today!! 🤞 For you all xx

@Cheesywiggles hope u manage to get through lovely. She told me it's taking 18 weeks to be passed to someone but mine already had although no decision yet. Made me a nervous wreck xx

Morning! I called at 9 and I got straight through! I mean not one bit of hold music. 🎉 It’s a minor miracle! She confirmed they have received my extra info posted on 05/10 and it was scanned on 23/10. Hallelujah! Now I know I don’t have to ring again for a while! She said it’s not had a decision yet and it’s taking 17.5 weeks now just fyi. So that means I should hopefully have a decision by week commencing 27th Nov 🙏🏻 Anyone at 17.5 weeks I’d call just to check if any decision has been made

@Muva25 it seems it’s another long drawn out process! I’ve seen people say they have been waiting months for back pay!
I didn’t even get a reply if they were going to verify my child or elements so just another waiting game. X
