Just got off the phone with them after holding for an hour - no decision yet, not even with the DM yet.

So so frustrated. It will be 18 weeks on Thursday.

Surely if they can't meet demand within a reasonable time frame they should employ more people.

Wow 18 weeks nearly and still not with dm!! Seems the wait is just longer and longer everyday! Xx

TheClassicCollection · 06/11/2023 13:33

I know, I could cry from the frustration.

The woman said between 17-19 weeks is the time frame now.

Mumto2sengirlsxx · 06/11/2023 13:35

This wait for my dla claim award was terrible but now having to wait for UC to sort backpay is starting to irritate me because their timescales are all over the place too 😫😫

TezZaX · 06/11/2023 13:39

@Tmxx I'm currently on hold now, 27 minutes in 😴 will update once I get through xx

Tmxx · 06/11/2023 13:40

@TezZaX some has just mentioned being on hold for an hour so hopefully that's the rough wait atm 🤞 xx

Kelz23 · 06/11/2023 13:41

good luck @TezZaX

Anniemumof3 · 06/11/2023 13:44

I’m on hold aswell 50mins in lol x

TezZaX · 06/11/2023 13:45

Thanks guys 🫶 currently eating my lunch while listening to the on hold tunes, hoping they don't answer when I have mouth full 🤭🤣 x

Doymum · 06/11/2023 13:47

I was on hold for an hour it was a nightmare, the man did seem nice though said I had every right to call however it’s still not even looked at. Said I would prob get a text but no idea and to call back on the 20th I defo think I will call Friday though.

Doymum · 06/11/2023 13:48

But saying that haven’t really seen anyone past the 4/5 get awarded yet so keeping an eye out

Mythica87 · 06/11/2023 13:51

Parking myself here. Scan date 28/7. Congrats on awards and good luck to those still waiting or going through MR. 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

Mumof3specials · 06/11/2023 13:52

I’m currently on hold. 15 mins in. Got cut of 5 times as soon as I got past all the automated bit. But finally on hold….hope I don’t get cut off. I’m not until the 27/07 but this is the first time I’ve called and just want an update and to know they’ve got the additional evidence I’ve sent. I have two claims in for 2 boys. My daughter already receives HRC & HRM.

Jude82 · 06/11/2023 13:53

@Mumof3specials It will be interesting to see if we get a decision at the same time with all dates being the same. I really hope they get through July quickly and we don’t wait too much longer. I’ve just rang again…cut off after 26 mins 😭 😤 I give up for today! I just need to know if they have my evidence, driving me mad!

I've got a way to go wait wise yet, but I'm reading the thread whilst I'm biding my time. I'm an ex govt worker and I still keep an eye on recruitment. There are loads of vacancies for UC work coach type roles at the minute, they obvs desperately need more staff. I know there's been ongoing recruitment with PIP asessors too and they've halved the wait time (I applied for PIP 2 yrs ago - nightmare) I've not seen any ads for DLA staff, although they usually try the overtime route first, and also sometimes train staff up from other areas. Hope they do something soon before wait times get any longer.

Hopefully not too long before your UC is updated.

Homesweethome93 · 06/11/2023 13:58

I think they make it up as they go along to be honest. Get told all different stuff every time I call, I'm just really worried it's going to get stopped before and I'm going to have to wait again

Mumof3specials · 06/11/2023 14:00

Will post any update they give me (if I get one and if I don’t get cut off 🤞🏼)
The wait is excruciating! 🤯😣

Anniemumof3 · 06/11/2023 14:05

Scan date 20th July just got through said should be done in 2weeks

PinkMoscatoLover · 06/11/2023 14:10

Lollypops88 · 06/11/2023 11:32

Hey ladies got through
Decision made on the 4th which was friday when i rang
She got HRC will do a MR for mobility
Scan date 3/7
1st text 5sept
2nd text 25sept

Congratulations on the award!

Just remember when doing a MR they’ll look at the whole claim so they can change the award to MRC/LRC or completely take it away. It’s one of the risks that can come with doing a MR. Wishing you all the best🤞🏾

NatalieAnn92x · 06/11/2023 14:15

@Kelz23 i feel like mine will be a decline too! So many 3/7 awards & im still waiting too 😫. It’s worse knowing it’s with a DM, before I just forgot about it 🤦‍♀️😂

Jneill2021 · 06/11/2023 14:22

@AnnieSweet I'm still waiting on change of circumstances scan date 17/5 called Friday and the lady said around another 10 days, will take me to 26 weeks xx

TezZaX · 06/11/2023 14:28

Just got off the phone, was just over an hour on hold. A really lovely lady answered, and she was awarded on the 2nd of November, MRC and LRM. I cried with happiness, so so happy 🤗

MumOf5Skids · 06/11/2023 14:31

Can anyone help.
requested forms 23/5
they got them back (signed for them) on 4/7 so exactly 6w.
they have awarded from 5/7.
should it not be from 23/5?

TheClassicCollection · 06/11/2023 14:31
