@Tmxx you’re correct hun, if the forms are sent back to them after the date that they have stated then if your child is eligible for DLA then you’ll receive the back pay from the date they received the forms and not the date your asked for them as they wasn’t sent back within the time frame. X

Jude82 · 06/11/2023 12:27

I’m North East England, Newcastle btw.
Forms requested 19/06
Scan date 27/07
1st txt 02/10
2nd txt 23/10

Doymum · 06/11/2023 12:26

I’m on hold I’ve given in and calling no doubt be told to call back in two weeks but I’m trying

We are scan date buddies so let me know! I did ring this morning and he was so helpful explained where the forms go and end up from start to finish told me they get scanned then moved to somewhere else then into the dm pile then they make a decision! Mine is still just waiting to go to dm so hasn't moved after being scanned on 11/07 😪🤣 xx

Binks90 · 06/11/2023 12:31

Just got of the phone with a lovely man told me mines in the holding pile and that means they take a few out a day to be looked at 🤦‍♀️and if I call them back the end of November coz it's taking 18 weeks was on hold for over an hour!!

Tmxx · 06/11/2023 12:35

Oh you got more info about it than me! And im a week before! They never told me I was in a holding pile haha 🤞 xx

Jude82 · 06/11/2023 12:36

I’m glad some of you are getting through even with the waits. I have just tried again and just got cut off again with a funny dialling tone. The new message on the automated service says approx 15 weeks like their letter and I don’t know why they have even added that when they are taking much longer

Sammy8919 · 06/11/2023 12:37

Well I was told Friday be few weeks Monday now and been awarded exactly 5 weeks from last text and be 18 weeks on Wednesday

Jude82 · 06/11/2023 12:42

@Sammy8919 congrats! And interesting to know again it’s been awarded for someone exactly 5 weeks since the last txt. I think that must be the aim. I’m 2 weeks since my last txt now 🙏🏻

Doymum · 06/11/2023 12:43

Just got off phone, I’ve been told not to call again until the 20th . Scan date 10/7 said it’s not with DM said it’s in a pile and it’s taking 17.5 weeks to go to DM. I said I’m on 17 weeks he said sometimes it’s longer.

TezZaX · 06/11/2023 12:46

Doymum · 06/11/2023 12:50

@Tmxx it’s like a never ending, constantly moving finish line 😂

NatalieAnn92x · 06/11/2023 12:51

Congrats @Lollypops88!! Hopefully me & @Kelz23 get an answer this week 🙏🏻 im really starting to think it’s a decline now 🥺

Tmxx · 06/11/2023 12:55

@Doymum ahh i thought we had the same scan date but you are just 1 day before me! Changes constantly! They say on the phone 18 weeks atm and then says you should be done by the end of November so do they mean thats 18 weeks just to go to dm!? Then could be another 2 weeks? Or do they mean 18 weeks for a decision!? 🤣 drives me mad xx

Doymum · 06/11/2023 12:57

@tmxx I’m gonna call back on Friday I’m not going to keep waiting that’s not fair.

Tmxx · 06/11/2023 12:59

Please try remember my name threw all these many names to tag me and update me! I can't call Friday and thats when I really wanted too haha xx

Mumto2sengirlsxx · 06/11/2023 12:59

@MangoPepsiLover my youngest got accepted last week for hypermobility and suspected ADHD, for HRC and LRM. Stated on the letter she was given HRC due to the fact she wets herself because her bladder doesn't signal her body until its too late... doctors don't know If this is caused by hypermobilty or her ADHD... also got my eldest accepted the start of the year for Dyselxia, audio processing, phonological awareness disorder, no memory core and anxiety... she has a EHCP in place which helped her Dla be approved. X so as long as you have enough evidence I'm sure your claim will go through fine x

TezZaX · 06/11/2023 13:02

I haven't actually ever called, I have just been reading through threads like this and going off of other people with the same date as me. But I think I need to find out, but I have a feeling it's a decline as lots of others have heard already.

Some around your date have just recently been awarded so it could have been awarded and due into your bank account any time! I would definitly give them a ring and find out as if it's a decline you can then also ask for the breakdown of why ready for a Mr xx

Please update us if you ring xx

Mumof3specials · 06/11/2023 13:23

I’m 27/07 too!
Texts -
2nd & 23rd of October

Kelz23 · 06/11/2023 13:26

Everytime phone give off notifications my heart races thinking is this it lol 😂 the best is though I’m so sure it be declined unfortunately. Just want it over with

Mumof3specials · 06/11/2023 13:26

All my dates are exactly the same as yours. When you requested, when they received them back and when you received the texts.
Hope it’s not too much longer 🤞🏼

Homesweethome93 · 06/11/2023 13:28

Is anyone on here for change of circumstances? The wait time is 28 weeks and my award runs out beginning of Feb and I'm being told they won't get to my file untill end of Feb.. so what happens then then...I'm confused. I was sent out a mobility file I filled it in sent it back but now they are saying that shouldn't have happened with how close the end date is I should have had a renewal through instead but this was 2 weeks ago and I still haven't received it yet

AnnieSweet · 06/11/2023 13:29

I called today regarding change of circumstance. Took over an hour to get through. Wanted to check they received additional evidence I sent which they said they had. Women on the phone said wait times for Coc have gone down from 28 weeks to 25 weeks. Scan date was 21/8 so I have 14 more weeks. It’s a long wait :(
