@Mummyrach13 see I called yesterday I’m 29/06 and she said was in a pile to go to DM (18.5 week wait) so I’m thinking dates after 26/06 will be in like next weeks batch? Or this weekend onwards if that makes sense ! I’d like to call next Thursday at 18 weeks but honestly it’s just one of them ones if you call and keep getting told to wait it puts you off calling , think I’ll hold till 19 weeks now and just see what happens! ❤️

LGR004 · 27/10/2023 10:14

Hey guys quick question! If I was to send extra evidence today for next day? What are the chances of it getting left and not scanned on to the system on Monday ? Where it’s the weekend I’m worried it will just be left ! What do you think? X

I sent extra evidence on a Friday about 3 weeks ago. Despite paying extra for Saturday delivery it wasn't delivered until Monday. When I queried it I was told some places do not accept deliveries on Saturdays so I assume dwp must be one of them. Just thought I'd warn you about that cos I wished I hadn't payed the extra for Saturday next day delivery ( think it was an extra £3.50)

Mummyrach13 · 27/10/2023 10:18

@LGR004 i Sent some last week next day Saturday delivery cost £12 and it didn’t get delivered until the Monday despite paying Saturday delivery and arriving at the local mail centre early hours Saturday morning.

I phoned Tuesday and she said it would be done by 19 weeks and would be soon so I don’t want to call again now to be told it’s still waiting although most of 26/6 are done but Hannah is still patiently waiting from 15/6 . X

To answer your other question though mine was scanned on the same day they received it. I called to check!

Thank you @Mummyrach13 and @LGR004 I'm glad the wait is finally over. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of you to hear something soon and it be positive news!!
I genuinely do appreciate this group that have got me through the wait for my 2 boys decisions xx

LGR004 · 27/10/2023 10:24

@Mummyrach13 oh wow, yeah I think I’ll leave it till Monday , cutting it short but if I do it Monday I think I have more a chance them getting it and scanning it on on the Tuesday ?

& yeah I know so sorry for her , I hope she gets results by Monday latest .. people in July getting them and almost everyone near 26th bless her :( xx

LGR004 · 27/10/2023 10:26

@MelTom88 thank you sweet && I know this group is holding everyone together through these hard final weeks (12w+) it’s brilliant to see honestly ❤️

LGR004 · 27/10/2023 10:34

Who else is ready for an extra long weekend?! 😂 if I don’t laugh about it I might cry..

congratulations to all with awards today ❤️

SimoneHenry · 27/10/2023 10:35

Scan date 26/06 went to a decision maker three days ago. Still awaiting a decision.

Jneill2021 · 27/10/2023 10:36

Good luck everyone calling today x

Raych1989 · 27/10/2023 10:48

I'm probably going to get my number blocked by them 🤣 I'm on hold again to see if there is an update.
I know there probably isn't but I'm at 16 weeks and 3 days but I can't help but call. The thought of waiting all weekend is driving me mad.
I've seen some early July awarded yet some mid June not awarded yet so I'm not understanding there system at all.
Scan date 4/7

Tmxx · 27/10/2023 10:53

@Raych1989 Let me know I'm 7 days behind you so cant wait for you to be done so I know I'm roughly a week away from hearing 🤣

I called Thursday at 16 weeks, scan date 6/7. Was told it's taking 18-19 weeks but I have also seen early July awards. Let me know if u get different info pls x

Raych1989 · 27/10/2023 10:56

@Tmxx I will. Been on hold 35 mins. Will update when they answer. They might just say stop calling as I called earlier this week 🤣 x

I mean if people didn't ring they wouldn't have a job 🤷‍♀️🤣 so I don't see how they get annoyed with people when it's literally the reason they are there is to take our calls 😅🤣 xx

Raych1989 · 27/10/2023 11:01

@Asdmummyhere I will update when I get through. Its do disheartening when they say another 2 weeks. I've been told this for 2 weeks 🤣

@RayRaych1989 I'm 2 days after you 6/7. Put off calling again as they told me last week 18 - 19 weeks but I've also seen some early July's being awarded! Very confusing! 🤞 for you that you get some good news!

I love this logic 😂😂😂 or perhaps if they just said 18 weeks to begin with. I think it’s frustrating they keep sending letters saying 15 weeks.

Just a quick question if anyone would know.... I'm not on UC my husband earns too much for us to be entitled too it which is ridiculous because it just covers he's shop rent, needles, inks, gloves ect he has a tattoo studio... house repayments we borrowed money off he's parents to buy our house so they take a certain amount weekly for repayment, food shopping ect I work 2hrs 3 nights a week for pittance but that covers the kkds lunchbox shopping for the week and yhr dog food... anyway point of my question is if my son gets awarded would I qualify for carers allowance? Does anyone know how this works, would I have to wait for an award letter to fill in carers forms, would I be penalised for my husbands wage, would it be worth applying for or not?

As long as YOUR earnings are below £139 a week then you can apply for carers allowance. Have a read on the link below to see how it all works.

RMNofTikTok · 27/10/2023 11:10

36 minutes on hold to ensure they've scanned my additional evidence.

How dare we have the audacity to call a call centre and expect people to do their jobs 👀

Keddie · 27/10/2023 11:14

I could not resist calling even thou I am scan date 12/7. Lovely lady advised it gets assigned at around 18 weeks to a DM. so another 3 weeks for me W/C 12 November

Raych1989 · 27/10/2023 11:16

This is exactly why I get frustrated. We are told 15 weeks then when we call the call handlers are annoyed we are calling.
I'm sure if it was other way round and they gave us a deadline they would expect if to be met.
I doubt they would be interested why it was late.

Emsychap · 27/10/2023 11:30
