Morning all! Scan date 29/06 was told yesterday it’s in a waiting pile to go to a DM ! Looking like next week for dates 27/06 onwards to be with the dms ! If anyone is calling today let us know the results ❤️🌈 good luck! X

Helpmeout124 · 27/10/2023 08:55

We applied in May and got our daughters through on October the 3rd we'd worked out 15 weeks to be the week starting the 11th of September. So it was 2 weeks longer than expected

Mum2TribeOf7 · 27/10/2023 08:56

Scan date 29/06, told Wednesday should be another week or 2, just had a dwp text and my heart skipped a beat only for it to be cost of living info 😫. Its been an awful wait and now the end is near its draining my life force. Good luck to anyone calling today

LGR004 · 27/10/2023 09:00

@Mum2TribeOf7 I know it’s very frustrating, ours will be with DM next week or get sent there , don’t forget there working weekends so ours could well go to DM this weekend ! I’m calling on the 9th.. I’ll be 19 weeks then and SHOULD have an answer ! Good luck to you! X

KirstyBushbye86 · 27/10/2023 09:03

Asdmummyhere · 27/10/2023 09:21

Just parking here, thanks for new thread 🙃

ShannonFlood · 27/10/2023 09:22

Hi, long time watcher on these threads 😊

I’ve just phoned up for an update for my little boy. Still in holding pile but got off the phone and had a missed call from a no caller ID. Is it wishful thinking that it could’ve been a decision maker trying to call me? even though the lady on the phone said it wasn’t with a decision maker? I wish I hadn’t phoned them so I could’ve answered the call to see who it was.

The wait is stressing me out. I know they’re still getting through some of June but I did see a couple of people with beginning of July dates get rewarded, so wanted to get an update. The lady was lovely on the phone and said it’s taking around 18 1/2 weeks to get to a decision maker and to try again beginning of November.

scan date 3/07
second text 25/09

Mum2TribeOf7 · 27/10/2023 09:24

It's hard figuring out when to call as everyone is given different time scales. 2 weeks ago the lady I spoke with said it would be done by now, Wednesday the man said a week or 2. The wait is driving me crazy, hopefully it's over soon. Good luck to you x

mum959 · 27/10/2023 09:29

I rang Monday told end of month! But so many were awarded with my scan date yesterday I really wanna call again today. am to scared they will tell me to stop calling or it’s declined . Also is case manager the same as the
decision maker ?
scan date is 23/06

Melliee · 27/10/2023 09:29

Hello
if it was the DM then they will keep trying again and again but usually they do ring of 0800 numbers so when you try call that number again you will hear “this is a no reply message from the dwp”
good luck!

Rebeccanew · 27/10/2023 09:34

Scan date 28/06

Second text 25/09

I've sent in autism diagnostic report, pupil passport, Ed psych report and CAMHS letter I just hope that's enough!

EHCNA is 8 weeks out of timescale I'm going to JR them next week!

Helpmeout124 · 27/10/2023 09:35

my daughters is done now but I worked out what time our post man came it was around 12:30 and I would watch him walk up the street, and when we walked past our house I'd be so annoyed 😂 bloody stalker watching him do his rounds

JB55 · 27/10/2023 09:40

Scan date 23/06

Claimed for my 8 year old daughter. Diagnosed with ADHD and undiagnosed ASD. Only evidence I sent in was diagnosis letter.

Finally got through to them a few minutes ago. She was awarded HRC and LRM 2 days ago.

Backdated to the day I rang for the forms, backpayment will be in the bank next week.

In absolute shock as I was sure she was going to be declined because I didn’t send much evidence.

Stay positive and good luck to you all x

MelTom88 · 27/10/2023 09:50

Finally off the phone
Claims for 26/6 are definitely going through now.
My LB award went through on 23/10 for HRC.
Hope this gives hope to those with scan dates close to this.
And don't question yourself on ringing, I did. But glad I phoned xx

Mrsstephens04 · 27/10/2023 10:03

Just a quick question if anyone would know.... I'm not on UC my husband earns too much for us to be entitled too it which is ridiculous because it just covers he's shop rent, needles, inks, gloves ect he has a tattoo studio... house repayments we borrowed money off he's parents to buy our house so they take a certain amount weekly for repayment, food shopping ect I work 2hrs 3 nights a week for pittance but that covers the kkds lunchbox shopping for the week and yhr dog food... anyway point of my question is if my son gets awarded would I qualify for carers allowance? Does anyone know how this works, would I have to wait for an award letter to fill in carers forms, would I be penalised for my husbands wage, would it be worth applying for or not?

Mummyrach13 · 27/10/2023 10:08

Congrats @JB55 i was worried about what little professional evidence I sent!

Eekkk @MelTom88 congrats another 26/6 awarded! So happy for you! X

Is anyone else planning on calling today? Don’t feel worried to call if your past the 15 week guideline stated then you have every right to call for updates.
The waiting is the longest. X
