I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me, my child has been referred to cahms but hasn’t been seen yet so I’ve only sent the form and cahms referral letter to dla, I was wondering if this would be enough or should I do a diary to send in to? He’s on the waiting list for everything speech therapy, sleeping appointments, cahms, seeing Educational Psychologist for first time next week, any advice on anything else I should send in would be greatly appreciated 😊

Hiya I’m in Chester le street and I don’t know scan date but 2nd text on 16th oct over I got forms 6th July and sent straight back when rang said I was looking at 4 weeks which would put me at decision around 20th November x

Still on hold well over an hour now x

@Anniemumof3 your scan date would be the same week as me so between 17/7 and 21/7, I’m expecting a decision the week of 20th November 🤞when I’ll be about 18 weeks

Ahh sorry I misunderstood your previous post. I thought that you sent the birth certificate via recorded delivery so had confirmation that it was there. But it hadn’t been sent back to you.

I see now you sent it via free post so have no confirmation whether they’ve received it or not. DWP say it seems as if it’s been lost in the system. That’s awful! So what happens to the claim as they needed the birth certificate for whatever reason. How stressful

@Rebeccanew your the week before me im 19/7, it’s looking like a lot of people are get a decision between 17.5-18 weeks so im going to wait and call on 22nd when im 18 weeks if ive not heard anything before, wish these weeks would hurry but but they seem to be going slow 😣

I fell asleep waiting for them to answer 😂 she told me it was 17/7 they received it on the system and therefore I should hear by end of November

18 weeks today and still with a DM, going into another week without a result is extremely frustrating but hoping we’re near the end now, good luck to everyone still waiting end of June , stay positive the end is in sight ❤️

@Rebeccanew ive only send the cahm referral letter with mine, hes currently on the waiting list for everything! I’m constantly thinking did I put this, did I put that on my form 😵‍💫 I’m thinking about doing a diary of what he’s like this week to send in to make sure it’s got all his needs on there

I didn’t I just detailed what my daughter goes through she’s 15 was abused by her dad self harms suicidal thoughts break downs and melt downs kick offs tiniest thing escalates in zero seconds I just said she is with cahms 7 month waiting list for counseling for a suicidal teen with two previous suicide attempts and scars up all all her arms due to self harming it’s a joke I know they over run and it’s so sad that so many kids are needing this help but it frustrates me I put down sw as well and crisis team just so they could check but not much in actual evidence I figure if they look at her medical notes they can see so fingers crossed I will pay for private counselling if get it as I don’t know how else to help

So I phoned this morning and said was with a decision maker but they wouldn’t know if our claim was being looked at yet. However, I just received the text to say my little boy qualifies. I’m so happy the wait is is over for us.
