I think I missed a lot out but it’s hard to remember every little thing as it becomes your day to day life and the norm sadly hopefully we all get the answer asap c

Caitlyn59 · 02/11/2023 11:47

@Mummyrach13 still listening to this music and the continue to hold message . X

Anniemumof3 · 02/11/2023 11:47

Same I hope so as the wait has been forever fingers and toes crossed c

Anniemumof3 · 02/11/2023 11:49

I’m not really sure how it’s going I was told 18 weeks but haven’t really seen ir heard anyone from northeast on here before so it’s all guess work c

Sunshineclouds11 · 02/11/2023 11:51

I'm Newcastle, scan date 29/06.
Not heard a thing.

I did ring last Thursday for the first time and was just not with DM yet.
Not going to ring again. Not feeling hopeful tbh

Hi guys, just for the people asking on what grounds my son (4 has had asthma since he was 2) was rejected. My son has very bad asthma that leads to hospitalisation on a monthly basis.
-We were rejected because he doesn't have a Ehcp at a mainstream school.
-to administer his medication it takes 5 minutes. (he has 4 steroid pumps in the morning and 4 at night, and he had 10 pumps of his ventalin inhaler every 4 hours)
-we didn't prove that he needs any extra care as a 4year old relies heavily on their parents for care anyway.

  • we didn't prove that he needs any extra care at night as his condition is spermatic. (we supplies over 150 pages of hospital and ambulance records showing my son is admitted to hospital at late eving all the way to very early hours of the morning.)

Sorry I know this is a lot but people have asked about why we were regected and it would be nice to hear people's thoughts about if we have grounds to do a MR 😊 xx

Rebeccanew · 02/11/2023 11:54

I'm in Yorkshire...and scan date 25/7, last text 23/10. I'll be 18 wks end of November, but I'm expecting to hear in December given how long it's taking. The wait is horrible.

Mummyof5kiddos · 02/11/2023 12:00

Anniemumof3 · 02/11/2023 12:05

Thank you and me to it’s just trying rebuild now I don’t have great mental health myself I was with her dad from 18 to 34 and had no idea long story he was arrested originally for nothing to do with my kids n I left rebuilt then this came out four months older kids ended up in care due to me being suicidal but I have them back it knocked her for six a few month back when the said her word against his wasn’t enough reason to take to court even tho he is on a suspended sentence for meeting a minor for sex but everyone has things to go through and we are still here and we are closer than ever everyone has their own struggles and I just hope we get people that understand and don’t just look at it as another form n not real people xx

Tmxx · 02/11/2023 12:07

Looks like their finally into early July dates
Congrats on those that have been awarded. I hope those few end of June dates hear something soon. For the ones that have had declines shouod definitely fight their cases

Lollypops88 · 02/11/2023 12:23

@ShannonFlood congrats im the same date and same 2nd text i rang tues it wasnt with a decision maker yet hopefully next week 🌈🌈🌈

NatalieAnn92x · 02/11/2023 12:25

Did everyone send in their child’s birth certificate? I don’t remember doing so and now I’m panicking as I’m the 3/7 and I don’t want anything to hold it back! X

ShannonFlood · 02/11/2023 12:26

I did ring on Monday as well. It wasn’t with a decision maker then, it was still in a holding queue. Hopefully you will hear something soon 🤞🏼

Lollypops88 · 02/11/2023 12:27

You don’t need to send the birth certificate so don’t worry! DWP gets in touch with people to request it if needed

Lollypops88 · 02/11/2023 12:29

@ShannonFlood i really hope so? Congrats hun ❤️

NatalieAnn92x · 02/11/2023 12:29

@Lollypops88 ahh brilliant I was so worried I’d have to run up to the post office again!! I was only up there Monday frantically sending diagnosis evidence! I didn’t want to have to walk out in that weather! Haha. Fingers crossed we have some good news soon! 🙏🏻 I’ve got a horrible feeling but the wait doesn’t help!! X

NatalieAnn92x · 02/11/2023 12:29

@PinkMoscatoLover ahh perfect! Thankyou so much 😌 x
